***Official MMAForum Top 10 Rankings*** Post UFC 81

So here's the deal. We had paid members rank their Top 10 in each Division, HW to LW. With a set scoring system, we compiled their Rankings and gave them a point value. The fighter with the highest point total became the #1 fighter and so on. The number in parenthesis next to each fighter is the # of Points they received.

Here's the scoring system:
Quote:
1st place vote: 10 points
2nd place vote: 9 points
3rd place vote: 8 points
4th place vote: 7 points
5th place vote: 6 points
6th place vote: 5 points
7th place vote: 4 points
8th place vote: 3 points
9th place vote: 2 points
10th place vote: 1 point
So, without further ado...

Here are MMA Forum's Official Top 10

------------------------------------------------------------

A big thanks to all that voted. We had 25 dudes cast ballots this time around. If you are a paid member and didn't get your Rankings in, we'll be updating it after UFC 82. If you aren't a Paid Member and would like to participate...shell out 5 or 10 bucks.

Wow once again, really nice rankings. My heart feels warm seeing that picture of big nog with him being in first place. The LHW division went kind of crazy since the last rankings, it seems like people are jumping all over the place (actually, just forest dropping two spots seems kind of weird, thats all) despite there not being any significant LHW fight since the previous rankings (none that come to mind).

But once again, awesome job kds! Thanks

Lyoto above Forrest...bah!

Aside from that, good rankings. We got a good system going.

Good rankings! Nog defintily deserves to be #1 at the moment! Altough, I think a lot of people are going to have a problem with it.

I was going to ask if everybody thinks Cro Cop is a top 10 HW anymore and my question was answered.

Good stuff! There are a few I disagree with, but that is to be expected. Very good overall, in my opinion.

I still don't see why Barnett and Gomi aren't slipping on the rankings. Fedor cops a lot of shit for not fighting; yet Gomi, and Barnett especially seem to get a pass. Hell, Barnett even went up this time!

All in all though, i like.

I put Barnett and Gomi down further in my Rankings, but thats the problem. Rankings are so subjective and people are dogging on Fedor because he is so high profile, while it seems Gomi and Barnett are getting free passes. Both are fighting here soon though, so I think it'll answer a lot of questions. (Despite the fact Bang and Yoshida aren't top opponents)
