Tim Sylvia at the early 40 UFC era could have been the best ever UFC heavyweight but we all eventually found out he took steroids now thats why he uses lay and pray instead of his amazing striking skills back then he used to beat Cabbage to death, Ricco Rodriguez TKO, and poor Gan McGee.

Frank Mir was the best ever heavyweight at one point but since that car crash hes never been the same, plus Ian Freeman destroyed him.

Silvia was great back then but it seems that he has lost a lot since he was cought with the steroids and then the ar breaking incident.

He has especially gotten a lot smaller and more flabby in his appearence. Just look at his muscle tone in his fight with Cabbage and Ricco Rodriguez and compare it to now.

The answer is Chuck Liddell or Randy Couture.

Anyone who said Dan Severn, well lets just say suicide is barely an option for you.

Dan Severn .

Who has he beat that was actually good? Looking at his list of wins, the only good name there is Ken Shamrock. And guess what? He didnt really beat him.
After researching that match, punches were illegal in that fight due to politicians interfering with the sport. That is why the fight was so boring. Ken actually had mount on dan, and was dominating. He couldnt punch due to the rules, and since he was the champ, he shouldnt be breaking rules. Dan broke the rules and landed punches. The fight was not stopped, and dan won a horrible decision.

Everyone else he beat sucks, or gave him a draw.

And look at his loss list, he mainly loses to a bunch of nobody's, aside from his complete domination at the hands of Ken at UFC 6. And even the little ****er Royce tapped him.

Dan Severn. I scoff at the sound of his name.

spearsoldier I agree, Dan Severn is not the best considering Pedro Rizzo beat the crap out of him and Ken Shamrock and Royce Gracie both stopped him in his prime.

To me when I think of him its that awsome kick he delivered square on the face of Mark "The Hammer" Coleman, dropping him like a sack of potatoes.

Probably the best knockout in UFC history. At least Williams has that to his credit which is his claim to fame.

Randy just got old and the thing is that the older you are the more likely you are to get nocked out point given shamrock he has been hit somany times he proboly has some brain damage and is not as hard to ko. he used to be able to take any punch thrown at him. That is why he lost to rich and tito and that is why he is no good any more. look in to his eyes during an interveiw. Alot of lions den guys have this because of their training. Randy is proboly a better fighter but has a weaker chin than he did when he was younger. Good idea retiering when he did.

You are probably right about that.

I never thought of it that way.

It is true that the Lions Den has full contact sparring, which probably caused the ********s to kill their brain cells.

Poor Ken.

Frank Shamrock was the best ever champion in the UFC...Nobody beat this fella...I remember the time he beat Tito Ortiz down with his elbows....This man got completely screwed by the UFC...no one ever mentions him anymore and that's a shame....because honestly....He's 10 times the fighter Ken Shamrock ever was.
