Liddell vs. Silva??

Has this fight been signed yet?? They said it would take place in November, but there hasn't been anything on it yet has there?? I guess there is still plenty of time to announce it, maybe on the 10th or at Unstoppable.

There's been a bunch of talk about a possible rematch between Chuck and Tito in November. However I think Wanderlei vs Chuck would be more exciting. I think the fans would rather see Wanderlei vs Chuck but as far as I know Tito is the next in line for a title shot which I think takes priority over Silva vs. Liddell.

That sux IMO. I know that people want to see Tito/Liddell 2, me included, but Wanderlei and Liddell is much more watchable i think. Tito got schooled once by Liddell, and if Tito does pull out the win, then it will lesson the importance of a future Liddell/Silva fight. You're right though, Ortiz challenging is more important to the UFC.

I think that maybe this fight will never ever happen. Pride said at the real deal wand and crocop will fight anyone UFC has. Dana says that he has been working on chuck vs. wand for years. If this is all true it shouldn't be very hard to set up.

Tito and Chuck are signed to fight December, 30. Wanderlei and Chuck may fight one day but I wouldnt count on it.

While some on here would want to see Chuck-Silva more, the fact is that Chuck-Tito II would simply draw a lot more money for the UFC in terms of attendence and PPV buy's. So its a smart move on UFCs part.

You're exactly right. The Internet MMA fans and the more "experienced" ones who know about other MMA organizations rather than the UFC would love to see Chuck Liddell vs Wanderlei Silva, but for us North Americans and people who want to see Tito Ortiz get his head beat in, Chuck Liddell vs Tito Ortiz 2 is a bigger draw, and will get more buys.

The UFC and Pride can't get thier crap together on this issue so it won't happen in the near future!

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

Some fan had the interesting article that UFC had to pay Pride for the "use" of Royce Gracie. I wouldn't pay management fees to get any opponent from another organization even though I would love the crossover.

IMO, wanderlie would kill anybody (other than Belfor).
