I'm not sure I get this. What is it supposed to be? Is he supposed to be choking out the truck? But he's the same size as the truck, and the firemen are much smaller - but the caption says Nog was "little."
And why is there an arm under Nog? Was someone hit with him? The truck driver?
Why here in the US no one calls the nogueiras by their ring name?
Minotauro and Minotouro (portuguese) in english is "Minotaur" and the "Minotouro" I have no clue how to translate since it doesn't exists even in portuguese...
It comes from Greek Mythology. The Minotaur was a creature with the head of a bull and the body of a human. This is kind of an apt description for Big Nog. ;] Can't knock him out and he keeps on coming. I think Lil Nog's is just a play on the words, perhaps meaning "Little Minotaur"?
Though I have to be honest I don't know exactly what you were trying to ask in your post lol. Hope to have helped.
no no, I know what is a Minotaur.. t
he Minotouro thing I believe you're right, because "TOURO" is a bull in portuguese... which would make the real meaning of both names the same...
my question was why no one calls them minotaur or minotouro here in the US, it is always big nog and lil nog...
No seriously. I hope Rogerio fights someone like Babalu or Randleman or a big name in HCF and finally puts his MMA career back on track. He goes from being second in line for a title shot to fighting in Canada. I am a proud Canadian, and even I will admit that is sad.
He is in a Brazilian show now (actually it was in the afternoon there, but here is now)...
gonna record the interview, and if there is anything interesting.. I will put here...
EDIT:
well... he didnt say anything important in terms of fighting... one thing I didn't know and I liked.. Him and his brother started a month ago a project in a poor community in Brazil, with a big training center for free... they also get amateur guys to become professional fighters.. That should be more advertised, since it is a great project and no one knows. They pay for everything (big and lil nogs) out of their pocket... unfortunately few days ago, some jerks went there at night and stole over 40k dollars in equipment they had there... and the show's host was asking big business to help them out because it is a great project with the kids (over 30 kids under 12, and a lot more older).
That in Brazil is important because makes them stay out of the criminal life, drugs and all that. It happened when they were all here in the US helping anderson's training.

Justin Eilers made me a fan for life when he said that he would fight his mom. Mike Kyle also said some hilarious stuff in his pre-fight interview (Calling him & Eilers 2 of the top HW's in the world).
Justin Eilers is awesome, and I'm glad that he's carrying on the Varelans legacy.
You know, Paul Varelans, the greatest loser in MMA. Well, was the greatest loser, Eilers took that title long ago when he did the Flair Flop in the Buentello fight.
Like Varelans, all of Eilers best moments were of him losing.
