This will be hard to see who will get a title shot if all 3 of those fighters win their upcoming fights.

In my opinion, I think they each deserve a shot after they win, but who? Should they wait in line one after the other?

Depends on what the UFC does I guess.

Very interesting to say the least, all three are on some serious winning streaks and I would not want to be the one to have to make the decision on this one.

Davis needs some more wins over some good named grapplers before I think he gets a title shot. We know hes decent at putting on exciting fights with decent guys but Id like to see how he would do against a guy like Kos who would put him on his back.

Karo already seems like the UFC is ready to give him a title shot. I think they are ready to make it up to him for passing him on his last one do to injury and the fact that if he beats Alves hell have beaten 4 really good fighters in a row seals it.

Fitch has a really nice streak going and probably deserves a number one contender fight with Karo now in a perfect world. Unfortunately most people still dont know who he is since most of his wins have been on the undercard.

Personally I think the UFC is saving Karo and Fitch so they can get 2 title shots in a row out of them. Davis on the other hand still needs some good wins over named guys to get him over. Either way I see it being Karo vs the winner of GSP/Serra if he beats Alves.

Karo has beaten 3 solid fighters in; Fickett, Burkman, and Chonan. Before that he had an amazing fight of the year with Diego which could have gone either way. Previous to that he was on a 5 fight win streak with wins over guys like; Nick Thompson, Matt Serra, Lytle, and Diaz.

Im seriously starting to think you guys are being biased because of his personality and his fight with Chonan.

No, it's just Fitch is more deserving. Karos loss to Diego set him back, and rightfully so. Fitch beat Diego, Karo didn't. I imagine you meant Burkman instead of Barnett, funny you should mention that since Fitch dominated Burkman and finished him, Karo couldn't and never even had him in trouble. Fitch has beaten/finished his opponents in a more impressive fashion. Anyway you can't go by previous wins BEFORE a loss, that's just unfair and complete bullshit to Fitch and Marcus Davis. Like I said, that Diego fight set him back and Fitch jumped in front of him, it's as simple as that.

Fickett? Please, I'd be willing to bet Fitch would finish him in 2 rounds. It's cool though, now all these Karo circlejerkers can use the "you just think that because of his personality" to your advantage. Karos personality has nothing to do with Fitch being more deserving then him, it's called fighting and their individual win streaks, not personality despite your bias beliefs.

It'll be clear as day if Alves beats Karo, and we won't have to hear about this bs anymore and Fitch can go about his day being the clear #1 contender.

I used to think Fitch deserved it more because of his win streak but after really looking at it I think Karo should get the first shot. Karo has beat some really great fighters and he was already supposed to get a title shot. I think if he beats Alves he should get the shot with Fitch coming after that. Davis needs more experience against top guys

Karo will probably get the title shot because he is a bigger name and has more face value, having beaten Serra and fought GSP. Fitch has put on a massive streak and definetely should be the number one contendar. Marcus Davis is exciting, but needs to fight some bigger names.

As someone mentioned, the ideal situation would be GSP/Serra vs. Fitch, then the winner of that taking on the winner of Karo/Davis.

Fitch deserves it more than Karo.

Two things I dont understand though.

1. Why not have Fitch vs Karo, and have Alves vs Wilson. This way we wouldnt have these fighters pissing and moaning over who deserves the title shot over who. Settle it in the Octogon!!

2.Why is Marcus Davis in this discussion?? :confused02:

I am a Karo fan, but I say Fitch should get the next crack at the belt. They could have Fitch and Karo fight for #1 contender but I think having two quality guys lined up for title shots makes the most sense.
