Hughes Needs more than a prayer

This proves it in my opinion. BJ would've killed Matt if he hadn't seperated a rib. He dominated Matt so bad, that he had to "Pray to God" - Literally, check out the post fight interview (if you didn't do that already 2 weeks ago). If there's a third fight, Matt's toast

I don't think there will be a third fight. I think there may be a second fight. If Matt Hughes beats GSP then I think we will usher in a new era of welterweights with Kos and Diego Sanchez and other young cats getting the title shots, which they deserve. All in all, the next year or two looks promising for the WW division. My pick is either Hughes loses to GSP in Dec, or he keeps the belt until the middle of next year and gets caught with a submission from a TUF contestant.

I have to say I disagree with you 3D. No way in hell a TUF 4 guys gonna beat Hughes. And Matt and BJ have already faught twice so the next would be the rubber match.

There's already been 2 fights between Matt Hughes and BJ Penn silly.

By second fight I meant between GSP and BJ Penn. Sorry for the confusion.

it's aaaall good homie

I have to respectfully disagree with you. I don't think Penn was "dominating" Hughes but he did win the first 2 rounds. In my opinion this rib thing that keeps getting discussed, I really don't think that had that much influence; I think Penn just got caught in a bad position and couldn't get out plain and simple but that is just my opinion.

Matt hughes is a good champion only because he still has the belt. his win against bj will always be debateable but i think bj had him. GSP on the other hand was really young when he first faced matt with no losses on his record thas a lot of pressure i think GSP will give Matt what he needs and what hes been lookin for, a good beatin
