Hughes vs St-Pierre 1

Who do you think would have won the first round if St-Pierre had not tapped for another second?

Id have to say it would've gone to Hughes but It was pretty close so tough call.

I'd probably have given it to St. Pierre. He stuffed a few takedowns, landed some nice punches, and hit that huge spin kick. Hughes did score a few, but Pierre got out of one, know what happened towards the end of the first.

I think Hughes might have been able to do what he did to St. Pierre in the first and get him down to ground and pound him. It would have been a close match.

Im a big GSP fan but im not gonna say that GSP would have definantly won it was really anyones fight even though GSP had the 1st round for sure Hughes could have caught him at any moment and he did. GSP got his first title shot a little too early in my opinion I think he's a diffrent fighter than he was last time they fought. I think GSP will beat Hughes in the rematch but its easily either guys fight (sorta off topic) anyway the 1st fight could have gone either way but id give the edge to GSP.

Forum Bets: 0-0(Still undefeated)
Death Matches: 12-4-0

Georges St. Pierre was inexperienced in that fight, thats why he tapped so fast. He only beat two guys before Hughes, a young and new Karo Parisyan and Jay Hieron (laughable fighter). He still managed to dominate Hughes. And Hughes has not changed since the fight. Therefore St. Pierre should knock his teeth out and shove them down his throat.
