That youtube clip does look very decieving.

I wish BJ can return to his old "Takanori Gomi killing" self.

No way Penn is a has been. He has just had some sour luck lately. He has lost to the top guys in the sport, and when he comes back he is going to make his mark. I really hope there is a hughes v.s penn rubber match down the road.

BJ is not a has-been ... but he really needs to figure out what he wants to do.
I saw his training video in Hawaii and to be honest, it wasn't very demanding.

I think Hughes has said it best regarding BJ: "He's spoiled."

With back-to-back losses, he needs to decide if he's going for the belt, or just going to compete in BJJ competitions. His next fight (if there is one) will tell it all.

I agree, his next fight should let us all know what we can expect from him. I hope that he doesn't dissapoint.

BJ is in my opinion the most gifted and skilled fighter out there and if he trained more seriously and didn't seperate his rib or whatever he would have beat Matt Hughes, He is not a has been at all

Mac Danzig and his bird feeder once visited the Virgin Islands. They are now The Islands.
Mac Danzig can kill two fighters with one bird feeder.
Superman owns a pair of Mac Danzig bird feeder pajamas.

yeah bj has alot left, you win some you loose some, to point this thread is almost pointless, i mean to this day people are still saying how ken shamrock has some left (not much) but some and thats over 40 years old.

Bj has ALOT left, its just up to him wether to continue or not, then wether to step it up if he does. he can be WW champ, i know it.

well machida beat franklin by ko and he whooped bonnars ass too (not that that means much anymore) we all know renzo can pull of a sub at any minute..he beat the guy that trains some of the best guys in the world(pat militech) and then we come to 2 of the best welterweights imo ever gsp and hughes..he has fought some of the best guys in the world and won..and he has lost as well..that comes from being willing to fight who ever they put in front of penn is a warrior..the only way id consider him a has been is if this fight with diego really goes down...and he loses that..then i think it would be time to go back to the drawing board..
