My prediction!

I have only seen one Anderson Silva fight and he knocked out a guy, although not very hard to hit, that I thought could not be knocked out.

I have seen most if not all of Rich's fights. He reminds me of a smaller Fedor without the hyper closing ability. By that I mean that Rich is more than happy to stand with you and trade punch's and kicks and win the decision. He also has a tendency to get caught at some point during his fights but recovers quickly and never panics. Rich is extremely technical. His hands are up and his jabs are quick. He waists very little energy throwing useless punches and kicks or trying for fruitless takedowns.

It will be interesting to see how Rich handles the pace of this fight. The Chute Box guys love to overwhelm their opponents with non stop ferocious action. Some well placed leg kicks will slow the advance of any striker as well as some powerful jabs.

Prediction: Rich realizes that he may not win a 5 round decision with this guy so I look for him to "open up" with his hands, get to the clinch (another great way to stop a striker), and eventually put this guy to sleep with some Icemanesqe bombs coming out of the clinch.

Rich is just a weird fighter to fight. he comes at you at all angles, and it throws his opponents off. Tanner was thrown off twice, Loiseau was thrown off, and Quarry was. I don't think the clinch will be Rich's secret weapon. I think he'll realize Anderson is too good of a striker, and take him down. Atleast I'd hope Rich would do that.

Dude, if Rich seriously does that at UFC 64 I'm going to be laughing so hard. It'd just be funny since he told Serra to do it.

Rich Franklin wins, 1st/2nd round KO.

I think that Rich fighting in the clinch would be the worst for him seeing that Anderson Silva is a Muay Thai Fighter. I think his best chance is to fight him on the ground and go for a submission. That has been Silvas weakest point in other loses he has had.

evilhomer has a little shameless behaviour in the past
go download sum of anderson's older fights from different org's and tell me that ur not impressed

Tanner was old and on his way out, UFC knew it, and even Tanner knew it. probably why he does not fight anymore. Rich was just more marketable, younger, a poster boy for xyience and overall a guy who they could control and tell what too do, all while paying him nothing close to a champions salary

Anderson will beat Franklin if he brings his A Game, even thou the UFC probably does not want that to happen, If it goes to decision then their gonna give it to Ace
