2 things you need to remember...

1.) Never bet against Diego Sanchez
2.) Never bet on Joe Riggs

I think Diego should take this one...unfortunately...

That's pretty much it in a nutshell. Except the "unfortunately" part.

i think riggs is overrated he's a cocky bastard that obviously doesn't deserve a shot at the title anytime soon since he has already had it didn't make the required weight and still got beat in the 1st round by hughes

I honestly just think Riggs chokes, he seems to do really well in fights that are less covered or aren't a big event, then can't seem to do a thing when its go time in a big fight

Riggs is a pretty mediocre fighter! He'll never be champion in this lifetime! Diego should crush him easily!

You forget that this isn't just some brutal sport where everyones out to kill each other. Its much more like a game of physical chess.-looney liam

I know that Joe Riggs used to weigh MORE than 300lbs.... now he's fighting at around 170lbs.

Does anyone know what year(s) he weighed that much?
How fast has he dropped the weight?

He is a little overrated but he always puts on a good fight and never goes to a decision. He is still solid though and a good athlete. I think when he matures some as a fighter he will be a top 5 or 10 welterweight, even if he doesnt he is still fun to watch.

He want to decsion aginst Nick Diaz but regaurdless it was a good fight. As for putting on a good show when he losses it happens too fast to make for a good showing IMO but when he wins it's defiantly an exciting fight.
