and i'm not sure how people can like a fighter who knowingly holds a RNC after his opponent taps out

So you would rather a long drawn out decision then a fight that gets finished?

of course not. but i don't have favourite fighters just based on the quality of their fights...what joy is there rooting for a guy who has all the talent in the world and hasn't lived up to his abilities and has disgraced the sport? i'd rather root for a guy who works for his victories, trains harder than any other fighter, is a classy guy, family man....that's a champion to me...

People can like whoever they want. They are both high level fighters and both pretty exciting IMO. Sherk CAN be boring but usually has action throughout his fights, only knock on him is he doesnt usually finish fights.
Sherk will get some TDs in this fight but if he slips up at all and gets put in a dominant position by BJ or gets put on his back somehow it will be serious trouble for him. Especially if BJ gets his back. The cardio of BJ, the standup, and how effectively Sherk can take down BJ are the keys in this one. I have BJ but this is one of those dream fights like Aaronyman said.

I like champions who don't gas after 2 rounds.

Penn and Lutter should start a training camp. It would involve lots of fried food.

I think that testing positive for steroids would make you a bigger disgrace to the sport.

And great jitz.
I'm actually leaning toward Sherk on this one, though. I htink he can hang with Bj long enough to get the fight into the latter rounds. At the end of Round 2, I would be surprised if there were anything left in BJ's gas tank.
