JZ has around equal stand up and BJJ that while not as good as BJ's is good enough he won't get subbed.
Also JZ is in much better shape and is way stronger than BJ. I see this fight going down a lot like GSP vs BJ except JZ won't get owned in the stand up.

Penn is a fighter. He gets his advantage in stand up due to timing. His experience and neat technique allow him to pick apart MMA opponents.

Getting completely outclassed on the ground? I can't see that with BJ's BJJ,..excuse the redundence of the letters 'B' and 'J'.

If BJ wins it's going to be early probably the first round by TKO or Submission.
Though BJ's cardio is much improved, it's not on Sherk's level so the longer the fight goes the more it goes in Sherk's favor.
But to be honest I think BJ is better overall than Sherk with the exception of Cardio and Wrestling and BJ has some wicked TDD so Sherk is going to have to work hard for the TD.
BJ is training with some good wrestlers like Urijah Faber for this fight so he will be ready.
But honestly I see BJ dominating this fight anywhere it goes. Even if BJ is on his back

BJ Penn is motivated to win this fight. Don't be surprised if he's in great shape.

LOL Bj will Walk through Sherk.
If you're gonna compare GSP vs Serra 2 to this fight, then BJ is GSP.
BJ was the biggest challenge GSP ever faced. Hughes was getting slaughtered on the feet against GSP in the first fight. BJ wasn't finished, he just gassed and lost the Decision.
Sherk got his @$$ handed to him by both Hughes AND GSP. Therefore the STRENGTH advantage goest to BJ, who was never dominated by GSP, and who decisively beat Hughes. And that was before he had Cardio.
Yeah, Sherk's screwed.

...you didn't give a reason why. Just wait and see. Or go watch the fights I mentioned.

Maybe I’m biased against Sherk but I think BJ will win fairly easily …
Sherk is in fantastic shape and is strong but loves LnP and it drives me nuts. Unless he’s upped his game during his suspension I think BJ will likely outstrike and out BJJ him…Even off his back I see BJ being very dangerous…I also think BJ is going to be in killer shape and angry for this fight…
Who knows though I could be out to lunch on Sherk but I’ve never been impressed by his style…

Heh, Sherks game was never about BJJ or striking, so I will agree with you there...
but Sherk can definitely out wrestle BJ, thats Sherks bread and butter and hes insane at it.
I might not like Sherks style, but I acknowledge that its extremely effective and dangerous.
Sherk can *easily* turn this bout versus BJ into the Franca fight... where he controls him from full guard for 25 minutes for the win.
