Thats great news. I have always liked Din and hoped he would get on track and get a string of wins but I think he will be much stronger at 145.

Wow, how has this thread not gotten more love? Din at 145 is great, it makes perfect sense. He could be a force...but I still would take Faber over him. Din has trouble when his opponent is a relentless aggressor, which practically describes Faber's style.

This is great for the WEC and gives them even more credibility (it also gives credibility to the rumors that UFC will be moving it's lighter fighters to the WEC and the heavier weight classes to the UFC... even though I still attest that this makes no sense).

I think Din had a shot against Florian, Franca, Fisher, etc. in the UFC, but the WEC he might be a bigger factor as a title contender (especially at 145).

I actually really want to see Thomas vs. Pulver, I think that'd be a war standing up. I'm not sure how strong Thomas will be at 145, and I'd really have to sout that a little before I start comparing him to Faber (because if Faber would physically just bulldog him, then that's not a matchup I'd care to see), but his technical skills and experience are certainly more impressive than Fabers.

He hits hard and he's got good subs, so I think that he has a shot at Faber almost as much as Jens does (though, in fairness, Jens also has a wrestling background and Miletich behind him), and I think that all three of these guys are making this division interesting. The more I watch, the more I like the WEC.

I'm sure you probably already know this but Thomas already beat Pulver by heel hook in 2000, so I would really want to see a rematch to between the two.
