Doubtful. I think if he moved up to HW he might be a contender though. He's gonna be the first 206 lb HW champ.
No one at HW will be able to keep the fleeing pace he sets. Once they're completely gassed he'll shoot for the takedown, submission via KO via hand-over-mouth-choke.

LMAO, I always thought it would be funny as hell having someone fight at any weight class at the lowest end of the spectrum.

So, his explanation is pretty much that he knew he had no chance and was afraid, so he might as well just back pedal the whole fight. That's a lame explanation. Don't you need confidence no matter what to be a good fighter? You have to believe you can win no matter what. Get in there and start throwing them.

But, everyone has bad days and I'm sure he's learnt from this fight and if he hasn't learnt anything then I guess he should pack it in.

How can anyone defend Starnes in that fight? Did he not run away the whole time

Rock Quarry exploited Kalib's weakness, that being his heart. Starnes knew that by being so far away he wouldn't have to engage and he sure did keep his distance.

Starnes is a douche.... This will be my last post in regards to Starnes as he is a waste of time and energy, both mental and physical. He doesn't deserve to be talked about... much less the bandwidth and forum space used to type this. He fights like old people hump.
