Well, this is sure a sign they want Pro Elite to fail. Spike TV will air an Ultimate Iceman special on May 31, followed by a special version of UFC unleashed highlighting Liddell v. Silva. It's a 2 hour block of programming meant to attract another few hundred thousand viewers away from CBS.
Sorry to change subject slightly but Elite xc was shown on sky sports for the first time last night. Hopefully us fans in the U.K get more MMA on tv.
I've seen all of Liddell's fights, and I know enough about his past and training regimen to not need to watch it. Elite XC might not be the greatest, but it will be live and new. I'll be watching it and flipping to Liddell during commercials.
Elite wins for me for sure. The crazy part is cbs tried to do a deal with the UFC first but dana said he was not interested. Now he tries to screw with Elite. The more live shows the better.
I am really getting frustrated with dana and his vince mcmahon syndrome:confused03:
Honestly, I'm getting to the point where I think the UFC has gotten as far as it can get with Dana as the front man. If he wants to continue running TUF, then fine, but he is almost becoming a detriment to the company's future.
Elite all the way! I'll be watching to see if Kimbo can win again, shut up all the "haters" and PROVE TO THE WORLD that his is totally top 10 and ready for a UFC title shot.
Just kidding. I'll DVR them both and watch them when I have nothing else to watch at 3am feeding the baby a bottle.
I am really looking forward to seeing Robbie Lawler fight agian. I will be watching EliteXC
