BJ Penn Wants Revenge On GSP and Hughes After Sherk! (Source)
After he beats Sherk, I'd love to see him go on a revenge tour by smoking Hughes and then setting up a showdown with GSP. He also mentions Anderson Silva. That would be amazing!

i agree completely. BJ has a super tough, top-tier opponent coming is just about two weeks. i do give BJ credit for setting high goals for himself, and i believe that they are possible to attain. however, sherk must be defeated first, otherwise such lofty goals will be merely academic. these comments do show that BJ is very serious about MMA now, and that can only be a good thing as BJ is a very talented and entertaining fighter in my eyes.

I dont care to see him back at WW yet. IF he beats Sherk he needs to dominate the LW division by beating guys like Florian, Huerta, Griffin, etc. Once he has done that he could move up for rematches with Georges and Hughes.

I agree BJ needs to focus on the task at hand. But one thing about BJ is he's always got something on his mind and he's going to say it.
BJ also has a tendency to think far ahead. Like his coach Junior said about him. They set a goal to start from a certain point and work up but BJ just starts at the top.
But first he needs to beat Sherk which I'm very confident he will given how hard he's training.
I think he could beat Hughes again rather easily than the first time, but I don't think Hughes would be up for it. By that time, he'll probably be retired.
As far as GSP goes. I don't think BJ could handle him this time.
Plus BJ has the belt and if he beats Sherk there will be plenty for him to do at LW which is where he seems to fit best

Talk about getting ahead of yourself BJ, if he beats Sherk, he's for sure gonna have to defend his title at least once before he moves back up to 170, and if everything goes well for GSP and Silva; meaning if they both win their next title defence (vs Fitch and Okami), we'll most likely be seeing a super fight sometime later this year or in 09. BJ's gonna have to wait more than a year for GSP or Hughes, and I think he'll be dethroned by then, his ego is getting to him.

I like that BJ seems to understand that he's got obligations with his current weight class before he can go traipsing off to fight whoever he wishes. It's good that he has goals and is very focused. I would love to see him vs Hughes, GSP, and A. Silva. Hughes, I think he would beat if they fought again, and GSP? Well he's getting phenomenal, so that would be a spectacular fight... I can't pick a winner as I like watching both, and against A Silva, I'd see him getting beat down, but after a good couple rounds.
