i got faith on sherk too... bj is a gas machine but this time i think he's pissed and needs to prove he's not a lazy mma fighter... sherk needs to win to prove he's not a juicer.

I also think Sherk is going to win. I too dislike Penn.

This thread about Sherk made it through 10 whole replies before having someone reference steroids. Yay?
I wonder what the betting lines are going to be like on this one... if Sherk's a big underdog, I'll bet on him all the way. I think this fight boils down to a few things: BJ has the skill, Sherk has the determination.

both of these top-tier fighters have points to prove in this match up, which will hopefully make this fight a contender for FotY. i am a BJ fan, and i do think he has the edge in this fight. however, even though i do not consider myself a sherk fan, i respect him. for BJ to overlook sean and assume that this fight is his simply because he is BJ would be such a huge mistake. sherk is a warrior, a work horse, and he has a ton of heart. BJ, on the other hand, is an extremely dangerous fighter in so many ways. sometimes i find myself awestruck by his performances in his fights. i think i break this fight down to 55% chance for BJ to win by KO or SUB within the first three rounds, and a 45 % chance for sean to win by TKO, SUB, or UD in round four or five. whichever way this fight works out, gentlemen, we are in for on hell of an entertaining show!

I got Sherk in this fight. I don't like BJ at all, he's way to arrogant for my taste, and I don't think he will stop Sean. So my prediction is BJ will probably get the first two rounds, then the third will go to Sean, and if he doesn't finish the fight in the 4th or 5th, he'll get both on the score cards.
Sherk by Decision. 48 - 47 probably from all three judges. I know I'm being very specific, but to me these are two of the most predictable fighters in the UFC

lol, while i appreciate you acknowledging one of my fav fighters....i've actually gone on record saying i think this fight is about 50/50....i can see this fight having a number of outcomes but i think it'll come down to how dangerous bj remains in the 3rd round...since sherk is a beast to finish and he pushes a hell of a pace....
my lungs will probably be sore after screaming at the TV during this fight....it's one of those fights where you get all tingly as you see the fighters enter the octagon...and when the fight starts your saying "OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG"

christ, i hope sherk doesnt win, i bet 5000 points on bj. im not really a bj fan actually (he is super cocky!) but i believe he has the best chance of winning. sherk is good at smothering, but bj is even better at control. i say bj by UD.
