Just trying to get it. While keeping an open mind on this fight.
Sherks cardio/wrestling skills. Wil help him survive into the later rounds?
Bj's BJJ/Gasses. Will make him dominate the first couple rounds but will not survive the later rounds?
Umm, what if it doesn't go into the later rounds? No one will really know for sure whos cardio will be better, Right?
I mean, Sherk has not fought in what 10 mo. And BJ has finished his last two fights in the early rounds.
Why not just wait till the fight? And see for sure. I'm hoping it's going to be a great fight. It's probably going to be the most watched fight this year. So far it's one of the most talked about fight for sure.
I'm a BJ fan. But after reading Sherks ccomments. I repect him more then ever. And with that kinda of odds against him. I'd put down some money on him too. Fan or not. Money is money.

I think it can possibly be a close fight but I think The Prodigy will prevail on May 24th.

If someone here/lacally would give me those odd,s. I'd take it in a heartbeat. I'd bet what ever I would have on me.
And for the record. I picked GSP over BJ when they fought. I would love to see a rematch in the future. That one would be sweet. These two are my two favorites in UFC.

I think it's sad that people are so blinded by their hate for Sherk/love for BJ (or a cominbation of the two) to deny that Sherk has a chance to win.

yeah, i have seen a number of posts that read something like, "i hate BJ, so sherk is gonna win" and vice versa. people need to consider the individual skill sets of each fighter and not consider their emotions for either fighter. clinical analysis is what is needed to try to determine a victor before a fight occurs.

In the thread about who you thought would be champion I said BJ but with the caveat that I almost put Sherk as I saw this fight as 50-50. Personally I'm not a huge fan of either though I respect them both as fighters(I'm really trying hard not to bring up the 'roids issue)- but there are things about both I don't like. That being said if BJ comes in this in the best shape of his life I give a slight and I mean slight advantage to him. This fight is very hard to call and I really have no idea yet who I'll bet on and I haven't looked at the odds yet anyway.
