I know every post I have read is it BJ BJ BJ. The reason iam asking is because I bet $250 on sherk which pays +248. Everyone thinks he is a huge under dog and dont get me wrong BJ is AMAZING. His stand up is great. However, Sean has decent stand up too for short limbs. He runs in and throws his combos.

Bj Submission game is wicked HOWEVER, he only finishes guys in rear naked. Hughes, Pulver, Gomi, Stevenson (1 triangle to Ludwig)
He hasnt finished a fight since TKO or KO since 2002. Everyone talks about his Cardio being crap however he looked good his last two however, i sensed he was a bit tuckered after pulver.

Sherk has wins over Karo twice, Diaz and floran (who is tied for #1 contender and dominated him (layed on him))
He is a cardio machine because all his fights go to decision.
He has a pretty good jaw.ie Hermes smoked him with a knee every round. He took a beating from GSP and still fought.

I think everyone is counting sherk out but I think he has rounds 3 4 and 5 to win. If bj tires I can even see a 10 - 8 round.

I literally have my money on sherk. Does anyone else think sherk will come out on top.?

p.s For the record I hate Sherk. He just lays but unfortunaley usually comes out with the win. Iam hoping he does the same so I can get paid

I think and hope he wins because I really dislike BJ. I think Sherk will win through superior cardio, even if BJ has improved in that area he will be nowhere near the cardio Sherk has, and he has good enough sub defense to avoid getting caught I think.

This is one of those fights where I can't call it. I actually see a 50/50 shot of either fighter winning. The longer it lasts the better it is for Sherk. But if there is anyone who can finish Sherk it would be Penn. Forget all the nut huggery, I haven't seen 1 person point out a reason why this fight could be judged more than 60/40 at best.

i've seen a fair share of guys who give Sherk a good chance, i wouldn't bet on the fight for anything but i'd love to see Sherk finish BJ late on the fight.

I Dont think many class Sherk as 'HUGE' underdog and the people that do, dont know MMA.
Sherk will never be a huge underdog in any LW fight.

But I think BJ just edge's this fight for me, and to be honest am not really sure how lol, but i think hes going to win.
