If you put so much faith into God making you win a fight whats the point of even training surely the power of God is much more powerful then conditoning, striking skills, wresteling skills etc. . Im not trying to bag on religon in fact im christian but I find it ridiculus that people see there outcome in a fight in God's hands. The more talented fighter always wins thats just how it goes GOD HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT! I think religion is fine but people let it run there lives far too much IMO. For the people who are religous think about it this way... Your praying for God to help you win a game. Dosent that come off as a little selfish? Prey for peace prey for a stop to hunger but dont prey on a foolish game. I know some of you may be annoyed that I made a semi-religous thread but I think its kind of good escape from the average fighting post and I wanted to get my opinion across.

Whats with fighters and god? Hughes does it too...

i'm sorry, but that is sickening... to say that anything but your life and the lives of your loved ones is second to God, and by that theory, anything in your life as it is right now is second to God, is a horrific display of blind faith!!!

whiskey, racism, money, grease, twinkie's, guns.....yep lol thats about it

Franklin isn't as bad as Diego with that f*cking shit. All in the glory of God! Praise Jesus! He reminds me of one of those ministers on the church commercials.

haha Jesee "the mind" ventura!

It gets really annoying with all the god and jesus crap when people win. I always like to see the religious guys get their faces smashed. Maybe it's because I got stuck going to catholic high school. How about Kimo ans Jo son? Arguably the two most annoying Jesusy fighters ever to step into the ring.

what gets annoying is how everyone is quick to bash fighters/people for having faith in God etc...

How do you know what it is if you have not gave it a chance?

I say **** it if they wanna thank God let em, like I said more than likely they are just thanking God for their abilities, but when you get done fighting, you don't wanna say all that it's just easier to say "thank you God".

I'd rather them thank God than thank Xyience....
