haha this was not stopped early at all. He was completly out of it and if it were to go on Silva would of just busted up the rest of his face. Perfect stoppage or else Franklin would of gotten f***ed up worse than he did.

Franklin was gassed from the knees to the body... then the knee to the face just hurt him more...
Ok maybe theres some fights that went longer, but theres a hell of alot more that got stopped with less punishment. The point is it was over. Plain and simple. I mean I didnt think he was going to move after he went down for the last time. The man was done.

But for the record i would of loved to have seen it last a little longer to see him get beatin more but for the sake of his health it was a good stop.

Who cares if these are his favorite fighters. Ken Shamrock is a legend and Matt Hamil is a hell of an inspiration. These guys both have a ton of heart and I dont see how you cant respect them. Theres ABSOLUTLY nothing wrong with his favorite fighters list.

Dude wtf are saying? Man i dont give a shit who you cheer for you have to protect the fighters. Cheer for whoever you want but I dont want to see any fighter become crippled or stuck in a hospital.

Its a sport. Like football and hockey. I dont mind seeing blow outs. But ill be dammed if I want to see a player hurt so bad they can never play the sport again.

It tarnishes the reputation of the industry and brings down CNN and all those tree huggers on us again calling us thugs for actually liking the sport in the first place. And they will threaten to bann it yet again.

The thing that struck me as ironic was Joe Rogan's comments in the countdown show before the fight about how Franklin didn't 'look' like a fighter because he didn't have a nose that took a "left turn towards his eyeball". Well, he sure does now.

Man, that was a savage beating.
