that fight is was stopped in PERFECT time...

Franklin was the fighter defending the safety of the UFC on the Bill O'Reilly show. Letting Silva do more damage to Franklin would've went against everything Franklin believed in and said about the safety.

Its a sport. Like football and hockey. I dont mind seeing blow outs. But ill be dammed if I want to see a player hurt so bad they can never play the sport again.

It tarnishes the reputation of the industry and brings down CNN and all those tree huggers on us again calling us thugs for actually liking the sport in the first place. And they will threaten to bann it yet again.
Very well said

Yeah part of the medium is you can never tell when another person is angry. Im not mad. I dont want this to turn into a politcal debate, i just dont like people actually wanting to see the fighters get hurt beyond the point of recovery.

Hate em or like they have tremendous courage and guts to step into that ring/octagon and do what they do, we should accord them a certain amount of respect regardless of their personalities.

^ yep...the last thing anyone would want too see or hear is that the fighter is not able to fight anymore...due to some circumstances....that would shake the whole MMA business especially in the UFC.

i dont dislike rich whatsoever im just happy because i told so many ignorant hardheaded ppl not to underestimate anderson silva and i was called an idiot probably over 100 times..

and it was part sarcasm.. but honestly.. 1 or 2 more punches would not have hurt him to the point of no recovery.. he dropped because he wanst able to see shit after his nose was broke..
