its good to see the exciting guys make the most money 'Chuck...Tito'....That's crazy that Gracie fought for $400,000, I guess it was worth the pain.

What's crazy about it, is guys like Tito/Hughes/Chuck can afford to train the whole year where the other guys have to have regular jobs and get by.

We gotta keep them hungry, and even for the champs, Money is the MAIN reason they fight.

Good and bad I guess...I like watching the grudge matches when people hate each other rather then shake hands before they fight.

We pay their salaries, so as long as we get some of what we want...I'm happy

Well of course they had to pay Gracie the big bucks to come back...he's way past his prime and it was more a publicity thing than anything...there's no way he'd come back to tarnish his record for chump change.

Good point.
Would really be pointless other than for some serious cash.

The thing that amazes me the most about those figures is how wide the spread can be on the high and low fights...that one liddell cotoure fight made 20 mil...then another one makes 600k... it's insane.

These poor guys are getting exploited, not to mention getting their faces re-arranged for just a few thousand dollars ...
