Super Heavy Weights

This is my first post, and I wanted to say thanks in advance. I have found a lot of great information on this site.

Back in the day, the UFC used to not have weight classes like they do now. I like the idea of weight classes (makes it more like boxing), but I was wondering if you guys think that they would ever incorporate a super heavy weight class? I know the top now is 265lbs. Also, if they would ever consider making this class, what would the weight range be (230lb - Unlimited)? And what fighters do you think, if any (even Pride etc), could compete in a class like this.

I think they should redistribute the HW division. Right now its from 206-265 Pounds. Thats almost 60 pounds in difference between the smallest guy's and the biggest. This has led to a lot of mismatches over the years. The other divisions are in the 15-20 pound ranges. I think they should adjust the HW division and then add a Super HW division.

Ehh, I dont think they should add ANOTHER class, they are having enough trouble finding talent for that big gap lol.

Most of the Heavyweights are boring enough as it is... No way I would pay to see 2 300 pounders sit there and wail on each other for 5 minutes.

If I liked that sort of thing I'd be a boxing fan.

Only if some heavyweights had some submission and ground technique then it would be interesting to watch.
