i've said this before, Tito could really care less about drama with Ken. He only flipped Ken off at the end of the 3rd fight, because the old man kept coming up with excuses how the fight was not fair each time. (knee injury, early stoppage). As soon as he saw Ken accept his fate, there was no hard feelings.

I agree Tito knew he was lookin bad for flippin off Ken at the end of the fight thas why he said those things like he respecting him the only thing tito respects is an ass whooppin like the one chuck is gonna give him. Tito doesnt care about ken or what he did for the sport he thought he could get away with being an ass to ken but when he realix\zed no one was feeling it he quiclky flipped flopped like he always does and put on the side he thought people wanted to see. Tito doesnt stand anywhere he goes with what ever he thinks people want sure it makes you a good entertainer but it won't make you a real champion i.e. Chuck

Yeah. I like Ken and all, but its funny to me that they are talking about how classy a guy HE is, and they show the damn clip of the guy out and on the ground, and Ken is still like nuttin up to the guy as the ref drags him off..

What are you talking about? Have you ever fought some one you hate, that has talked a lot of shit about you? It was in the heat of the moment that he flipped Ken off and he later apologized for it and gave him a ton of respect and said “it was his night” and that he always looked up to him. I have been a MMA fan for a long time and respect Ken because he is one of the guys who fought to keep the sport alive when John McCain was trying to have it banned in the US. People need to get over Tito’s antics its entertainment and they are FIGHTING, what has he done that is so much worse than any other fighter? He has made a name for him self and he is one of the most recognizable fighters in all of MMA and he will prove he is still a top competitor when he takes the belt from Liddell.

WTF are people treating this like a streetbrawl, where you talk shit to the kid you beat down?
The fact that Tito later admitted that he respects Ken and all that other shit should only make you question more wtf he acted the way he did when he did.
If he had gotten up immediately after McCarthy stopped the fight and flipped Ken off, it could have been summarized as releasing frustration (which there shouldn't be any of to begin with, he beat down an older man 3 times)
But no, Tito took his time to do the burial crap, flip him off, then put on that shit shirt.

Just to point out, these are not 2 punks fighting in the street. Tito should respect the much older, and much more accomplished icon in his sport, and after beating his ass 3 times he should have the ballls and decency to treat Ken with far more respect than he gave him. Especially considering how the whole thing got really heated up with yet another asshole move with the "Gay Metzger is my *****" shirt. Sad how this is just about kicking someone's ass and then ridiculing him. It used to be about having honor in battle, now it seems as long as you win you can wipe your ass with your oponent.

having honor doesnt pay the bills. i'm sure that all fighters know much more about honor than you and me as going the legth that they do requires a lot of dicipline and respect. The fighters are demanding better paying contracts to be able to pursue their passion and bring you much anticipated entertainment.
Its silly to get all heated about one fighter defeating his opponent and put on a show for the fans.

I was thinking Ttio was still a bit excited and still had a ton of adreneline pumping through his system right after he was stoped by Big John. Which would kinda explain his actions. Im sorry but I dont think we should wrong him for that. Once he had a chance to simmer down he did apologise and gave his thatnks to Ken. Regardless if Tito ment it or not Tito did "man up" and showed respect. Tito made a wrong decession JUST SECONDS after he was forced to stop beating Ken, and then in Tito's way apologised. IM sorry but when a man admits he was wrong for doing something, very minor, in the passion of litterally just wining he should be forgivin. I mean Ken forgave him the second Tito apologised, so why can't Kens fans?! I am not justifying Tito's actions but Tito did see he was in the wrong and tried to make up for it!

I love watching Tito fight and after watching him on TUF 3 I think he is a decent guy but the little burial dance and his utter disrespect for the fighters who have paved the way before him is really embarrassing to watch.

He needs to get some class.

Tito was one of the big faces that brought the UFC into the mainstream, and it was mostly because people that HATED him, still loved to see him. They would boo him and claim to hate him, yet they still continue to buy tickets and watch his fights. Even if you don't like his attitude, you still gotta love the things he says and does. It's more entertainment outside of the fighting. When he steps in the octagon, it's all business.

He gave Shamrock the respect he deserved after the fight. It kind of looked like Shamrock was getting up to go at him again, just like the second fight, and it kind of seemed like Tito thought that too and that was why he flipped him off. When Tito saw it Shamrock was being geniune, he completely cooled off and embraced him. Good way to end their rivalry because the shit was getting oooold.
