Yeah start weight meaning his wieght going into first day of training.
185 going to 155 is still a big ass cut. And around what i was thinking he would have to be to still be able to have energy to fight. If you ever cut weight like a fighter/ bodybuilder, you know that in the last half of cutting wieght you are sucking serious ass in the energy department. That boy has a genetic gift or some seriously good cutting diet!

No, he really cuts down from 170 - 175.
He was talking about it when he talked about his "test" cuts, he cut twice down to make weight before he even had to weight in, just so he knew he could do it and it wouldn't be so hard on him.
Cutting 20lbs is rough, but doable

I thought it said 180, i might be wrong, but he was fighting in WW, so he was a big boy.... and his cardio looked awesome, he didn't even really seem tired after 5 rounds.

Yeah but I can see it happening. Silva didn't deserve a title shot either after 1 ufc bout. So Guillard may get one.

omm..sean sherk is a freak of nature. he only lost like 2 fights and 1 draw and he fought in the 170 division. its insane that he fights in the LW division. Kenny florian could probably take on any other LW and stand a decent chance, he took a shit load of punishment. NO ONE can stop sherks takedowns. I dont even think bj penn would be able to. that wousd be a sick fight though with BJs incredible JIUjitsu and incredible takedown D.

Guillard does not have the accomplishments outside the UFC that Anderson had. I dont think even Melvin should want the title shot yet. If he gets it now and loses he'd have to wait a long time to get another one. As opposed to waiting a little while until he's ready.

melvin is a beast, but i dont think hes ready, it would be smart to get fights under his belt, and let sherk fight a lil more, see what throws him off the most, and push a lot in that division....i would like to see bj vs sherk....flexibility out the ass.....would be good, but i think bj would get tossed around
