Tanner is a class act, I think he could still be a big time player in the MW division. He's a badass.

why everyone compare tanner lost to franklin, with franklin lost to silva.
that's a hell of different. tanner fought like a warrior and got beat but at least he knocked down franklin in first round, and it was some of his cut that decrease his power in other rounds, eddie bravo score for round 1 was 10-9 tanner.
when a fighter lost we dont remember how he did in that fight. do u remember what he did to "the crow" ? no cuz he lost and again because of cut of elbows..
but franklin had nothing to show against silva..i donno what was wrong with him but he did not do anything in fight.
Tanner is able to back , but i donno what is wrong with him now and u can see it in his myspace account. he has the heart of a warrior, a True warrior not these young fighter that comes and expect to get a title shot soon...
please look at Tanner UFC records, did you notice that he is one of few fighter that had many fights and many win in ufc....a few of them have this kind of record.

Evan is one decent fighter, hes a warrior and a top bloke. He last fought at like UFC 59 i think and won.
Bring him back - hes tough as hell - which is a lot better than some others at 85.

I hear that, I did not have a chance to look for it yesterday but as soon as I get the time I will try to find it again. The post it was in on his blog is really long and has nothing to do with fighting up until he says that, it is pretty much about his life right now so he does mention that in there some where.

First off, I am a big Tanner fan, that being said, no he should not come back anytime soon. Mental prep is a huge part of the fight game. And besides i don't see the UFC wanting him back anytime soon. Think about it, IMO I think he would beat everyone in the division save Nate, and Swick.

Evan Tanner is an amazing fight. We don't see many fighters like him anymore. His style is so rare and agressive. Not to many fighters these days can simulate his agression. I would say the closest fighter we have to him is Swick.
Tanner we want you back
