The UFC is becoming more embarrassing everyday
Greed kills everything.
wow you just said a lot of nothing!

I like when a fighter can speak the same language I do and you can actually understand them. I feel like the best man should win, and don't care if they can speak english well or not. I can't stand to hear GSP talk, but if he wins, then congrats. Silva deserves what he has, no matter how well he speaks english. There are a crap load of Americans that can hardly speak english, so if the UFC champs don't then who cares?

Why is everyone dissing on the fans of UFC whether they are "new" fans. Or, whether they are the so called True fans? If it wasn't for the new fans, there would not be as many PPV's or UFC on cable TV for everyone to complain about. Why not enjoy what is there.

I didn't mean to diss the fans so much as the way the UFC is being managed...the fans want the best and it's obvious by their volatile reaction when you criticise any UFC title holders that the fans have been duped into believing they're seeing the best.

But they aren't...they're being spoon fed so called "champions" that appeal to the largest demographic. That's why a Silva can walk in and take people apart so easily, because the talent is weak.

But hey, they sure look good and speak perfect good'ol boy american English

This is stupid. I dont know anyone who watches fighting wants to see any less that the best. Sure I prefer it if I can hear the guy talk but if he cant its not that bif of a deal.

Yes I do actually...I think there quite handsome in their own rugged kind of way. And if admitting that makes me less of a man then so be it. And if having their pictures tacked to the ceiling above my bed and occasionally glancing at them when I'm having my "alone time" makes me "gay" well then dammit so what

i don't think it's important at all. i think that being a good ambassador would be having a proper attitude in and out of the octagon. it's how he presents himself to the public and his fellow fighters.

I think its important for the fighter to be able to speak the native language of the country his industry is based in. You must remember that this is above all part of the ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY. Its all about marketing, speaking with your fans is very important.

Im not saying this to bash Sliva. Im saying this because above all in the US I feel this is important. The title holders are the stars. The stars are what draws people in. The people want to be able to speak and indentify with the star fighters. You cant do that through a translater, at least not as well.
Yeah...... that's right. Let's make sure all the competitors are English speaking, that way we can make sure anyone who becomes champ speaks English. I'm not sure having a crappy product like that would draw people in either. You talk a good line by saying "we don't care if you're from Poland or Brazil" and then look what you say right after that about everyone having to speak your language. The melting pot is not a good thing my friend. Now you can see why CANADA is the best place in the world to live

Let's Bang!
