Who cares if lyoto would counter everything wanderlei throws, he isn't gonna knock Wandy out....Wandy's gonna connect a few times in 3 rounds, and I don't see machida making the score cards, ya feel me?? then say you feel me...
Wandy isn't tito, if he hits you, you gonna feel it.
someone needs to get sloppy with machida...throw him up against the fence, and throw some haymakers, and wait for one of those babys to land....Wandy can also work the clinch game kinda like what tito did, and throw them killer knees....I think wandy is the perfect fighter to take machidas cherry.
I'd love to see this fight....I'd also like to see machida fight page, think page would bring the ass whooping, as he says, on that day.

I thought I was going to die in the middle of the fight I was so excited. The funny thing was I really didnt care that much about the fight going into it. Its the fight that made me a tyson griffin fan.

I don't know if I'm a Tyson Griffin fan, but after that fight I don't really want to pick against him anymore

Why isnt there the same hate rising up against Forrest?
This wasnt the Forrest of old, this was the Forrest that moved in and out, engaged on his terms, took the fight where he wanted it, took his opponent out of his comfort zone... ie. just like what Machida did.

super agreeance from me. i thought about that after the fight AND forrest talking about not wanting anything to do with machida
and yeah this is exactly what i meen. A US fighter from a reality show does something and its praise, if a "unknown " asian/brazilian does the same ( and might i add that machida tooles and dominates unlike forrest , ho did win yes but he didnt dominate rampage )then its all bad

cuz machida is a counter-striker, he would actually benefit from wandys style so that wouldnt be a bad thing for machida

agreed if he fought wand it would be a similar looking fight to the chuck fight. Wand would have to approach it the same way.

Haven't any of you heard of a one fight stratagy?! Listen, Forrest was facing a one hit KOer. Do you REALLY think Forrest would of done well if he stood in Rampage's face and started swinging? NO! It would of been the fastest Knockout in UFC history. So what would you do? Run up and try to takedown a guy with great takedown defense? No, what you should do is exactly what Forrest did! Stay back, and wait to engage when you can get a few hits in. It just so happens that Lyoto does a simular stratagy!
Also, another reason. Look at his match before this one. Griffin-Rua. Now, what do you remember from this fight? Forrest taking Rua to the ground, and keeping him there, eventually beating him! Forrest just trains to win! He plans his stratagy to beat his opponent, and nothing more. Nobody is going to hate a fighter who fights one "boring" way for one match. Look at Cote, fans hated him cause he was so afraid of falling into Almeida's gameplan, that he ran away from every ground spot. But I'm sure next fight, the fans will cheer for him when he shows some good stand up.
(And no one replies...)
