I guess what I meant by the one punch thing is that some fighters actually dont feel as strong when they cut weight. Maybe he will be stronger at 205.

Granted he's never really had a clean knock down with one punch but Im interested to see what happens if he catches Irvin with a good clean hard shot. Irvin has a pretty good chin and IMO Silva looks much better physically @ 205.

Anderson doesn't look bad at 205, but Irvin is "at home" at 205. This will defintely be a challenge for Silva.

Apparently when you go up in weight you become greasier.

Jk...well he does look shinier in the second photo, but you can tell he's bigger. I.E. Shoulder area, legs

No, since Machida is very close to challenging for the title and should Silva fight for it (and win) first then Machida doesn't get the shot and will stay fighting the contenders (much like Shogun & Wandy in PRIDE).

Ditto. I wouldn't get excited about the idea of Irvin outmuscling Silva since Franklin has fought at LHW and was supposed to be a beast (strength wise specifically) and Silva put him over his knee, spanked him and sent him home. Twice.

People talk about freak strength, I think Silva is one of those guys that has it. He isn't ripped at all compared to most MMA guys, he is so lean that you don't expect him to be super strong but from what we have seen I think we can safely say he is a hell of a lot stronger than he looks.
