Gotta few questions for you guys
So you guys know Ive been gone for awile and Ive missed alot of fights over the past few months. But ive seen some of the I saw BJ/Sherk,GSP/Serra, Wand/Jardine, and most recently Fedor/Sylvia. All were real fun and I enjoyed them alot. But I cant find a word about my boy Shogun anywhere. I know he was supposed to fight Chuck and he got hurt but ive heard nothing else. Does anyone know if hes healthy and if he is who are they talking about having him fight. Personally Id love to see him fight Anderson at either 185 or 205. Dont give me crap that Shogun is a big LHW cuz hes not. He could make 185 easily.
Whats the consensus opinion on BJ, has everyone finally agreed that he is the best LW in the world or has he still not beaten enough LW's??
Forrest beating Ramapage, was it the right decision? I think it was. I knew going into the fight that Forrest was the better striker and I thought it showed. QJ might be the better boxer but this isnt boxing.
Does Rashad have any chance at beating Chuck? I say NO!
And does Randy really have a shot at Fedor?? I still say he has a chance. Not a very good one but he still has the ability to put Fedor on his back and keep him there so you never know. But Id take Fedor by TKO at some point, too much speed, too much power.

I dont see why. The guys loses one fight and people are giving up on him?? He will be back I promise.
P.S. I dont think your boy Fitch has a prayer, that fight doesnt interest me at all. I dont see how he can beat GSP.

I don't think it is a case f him losing one fight and being forgotten about although MMA banwagoning is legendary. It is more that it is a hell of a long time (almost a year) since he fought and other people have been fighting, developing and getting talked about instead.
If and when he gets fit properly again he is sure to have his fair share adoring fans crying out for stomps to be used in the UFC.

Welcome back bro,hope all's well.
Shogun is rumoured to be back either in November or December, last I heard.
With Shinya getting beat by Hellboy last night BJ, is the number one LW.
I don't care much for Rashad so yeah, Chuck will beat him.
And as far as Randy, goes, he thought getting KTFO by Chuck was bad, wait till he gets hit by Fedor.

I agree about Shogun. I'm not even a fan of his but I know he will be back. Getting beat by Forrest isn't exactly a big deal these days. He is the current UFC light heavyweight champion afterall, and I for one couldn't be happier. If it's not Chuck Liddell, it might as well be the next best thing. At least in my opinion.
Welcome back, by the way. How long will you be around?

Welcome back, great member and you add a lot to the forums!
I dont know where the Shogun love has gone but I agree he will be back strong and a Silva/Shogun matchup would be huge at 185 or 205! I think there has just been so much talk about Lyoto that Shogun has taken a back seat.
And I think many more agree that Couture wouldnt have a good shot at beating Fedor anymore. I never thought he did and am much more interested in Barnett or Arlovski facing Fedor than Randy. I was really hoping Andrei would call out Fedor after his fight but he went the safe "whatever Affliction sets up" way.

I'd rather see Couture or Barnett vs. Fedor than Arlovski vs. Fedor. I think Andrei has a suspect chin and he doesn't have the werewolf attitude anymore. I don't think Fedor would have a big problem finishing him to be honest.
Randy vs. Fedor would be nice because they both have alot to bring to the table. They are both very good standup fighters, they both have great ground games, they both have alot of experience, and they are both average heavyweights in terms of size so they will be capable of putting on an entertaining fight. When two large heavyweights fight, you know the pace is going to be slow and someone is going to gas.
They both can take a shot as well. I know Randy got knocked out by Chuck, but that is the only person that really has put him down like that. Against Gonzaga he shrugged off a nice high kick like it was nothing and continued to control the pace of the fight. I don't see Fedor doing to Randy what he did to Sylvia.
Sylvia for some reason is easy to knock down. The dude can survive a big punch or flurry but he never takes it well. Arlovski did it twice, Randy did it, and now Fedor did it. Two out of four times he managed to not get put away. The guy is very light on his feet for being a massive heavyweight.
That being said, I am still leaning toward Fedor if he fought Randy. I just think it'd be a nice and competitive fight.
