What I want to know is how UFC can enforce their contract if Randy violates it.
They'd def sue him. No way to tell if it'd be successful. It doesn't matter where the fight is.

This fight isn't going to happen anytime soon and Randy Couture isn't getting any younger. By the time all of this is settled, this fight isn't going to be relevant for Fedor Emelianenko because Randy will probably be in no condition to fight a man like Fedor Emelianenko.

I don't understand why people are so interested in Randy vs Fedor. Sure, I think it'd be a fun fight and all but I really don't see why this would be anything historic.

To be honest, I really doubt that Randy is going through all this crap because of Fedor and the money issue. Dana proved that Randy recieved a signing bonus. Beating Tim Sylvia and Gabriel Gonzaga doesn't mean there's no one else left to fight so he should hunt for Fedor.

If he really wanted to fight Fedor, he should've done what Arlovski and Tim Sylvia did, finish their contracts and leave.

If I were Randy, I'd come back and lose on purpose just to piss off Dana. I still believe Randy is ducking Big Nog because its a bad match up for him and he know he will lose. You can't just come in and want to fight the top dog(Fedor), you have to climb the ladder(Big Nog).

if he doesn't get a tune up fight by the time randy fights fedor he will have so much ring he wont be any good.

honestly I dont even really want the fight to happen anymore.

Fedor Randy They are both great guys and great fighter. Really I would hate for either of them to have a loss on their record.

if you want my opinion on who would win Randy could have beat him if he would have fought him a while ago but as I said before he probably has ring rust now and fedor would win.

I am not sure about Arlovski, but Tim still had 2 fights left on his contract, I am pretty sure of that anyway.

Two legends of the sport don't interest you? Fine, but if you can't understand why it would interest others, I don't know what to say.

Fedor is the only fight that makes sense for himHe's old and getting older. Also, it was said earlier but I think Fedor would wreck Arlovski. Fedor-Barnett looks delicious but I think Fedor would KO Andre.

Different situations, Randy came back for the Fedor fight. I said a when the UFC bought out Pride that fighters knew from both sides. Randy knew and came back to fight both Fedor and Cro Cop. The CroCop fight nearly happened but Gonzaga threw a nasty wrench in that one. Fedor was supposed to get signed but it didn't happen. Would I love to see the Couture-Noguiera fight but it's a lose-lose for Randy I can see that.

He can't, that would be illegal.

I don't even know what to think on this issue anymore. My head is spinning and I haven't even had any cyborg juice. But Big Nog v Fedor and Arlovski v Aleks would be comparably awesome to Fedor v Randy.

Considering Randy was the champ not Nog when this started Randy would have been considered top of the food chain, personal feelings aside Nog would have been fighting Randy to move up the ladder not vise versa.

By the time Randy is allowed to fight Fedor, he would've had enough time to fight Big Nog, Werdum, and atleast 2 more fighters I think.

Sorry. If this case makes it to the Supreme Court? Something is ****ed up with the nations priorities. I would love nothing more than this contract issue to be resolved so that fans of MMA can see the best fights available. But for Fuc*ssakes, I don't think Justices Ginsburg, Scalia, Kennedy, Alito, Thomas, Roberts, Souter, or Breyers' ruling on contract law is going to unf*ck the Randy situation. Nevermind that the Supreme Court would never hear the case. However, I have a sneaky suspicion that Stevens is a closet MMA fan. Now that is a 88 year old Justice that can throw a nasty gogo-palata.
