...Chris1972...you have a point, but I don't think money is all that important to CC or Fedor. Look where they came from. Russia & Croatia. ummm...Anderson Silva...Pride fighter...now UFC MW Champion. It's only a matter of time till Pride Fighters own all the belts. Any true MMA fan knows that. I want our guys to hold the belts, but the envitable truth is that Pride will take over.

Swick vs. Anderson Silva

...Silva's clinch is very deadly...i.e. (Rich Franklin, & Leben). Swick is a killer striker and very quick. Silva can strike very well too. Tough match to call. If Swick avoids that nasty Muy Thai clinch...he has a good chance to win with fast, accurate strikes. Other than that, tough one to call. Could go either way.

I understand what you're saying, but the way that I look at it Silva is now a UFC fighter and when ever they change promoters they change who they are.

Pride fighters fight in Pride, UFC fighters fight in the UFC.

I like them bringing in more talent and I don't feel like "they are taking over" I feel like WE ARE GROWING!!!

Swick getting very few props

..Man just about everybody has jumped on the Anderson Silva bandwagon!
Seems like Swick is vastly underrated...like Silva was when he destroyed Franklin. Like I said if Swick avoids that Muay Thai clinch, he has a good chance to win. Swick has some badass high kicks & strikes too. This fight would end in a KO bigtime...could go either way.

P.S. good example of breaking the clinch: Sakuraba pushing off both shoulders of Wanderlei (quickly), shoving him back to avoid the Knee strikes.

Yeah, everyone is just holding their breaths waiting for the announcement of Swick-Silva ... ha ha sounds like Quick Silver ... Swick will do way better than Leben and Franklin but Silva will eventually put him away
