I actually think this would be a good idea. This could really help with the undercard fights. I think it will also draw a wider fanbase. I fully support women in the UFC. I saw an awesome 5 sec knockout earlier tonight actually and was thinking how awesome this would really be. Has anyoune else watched the woman from Ireland(kickboxer) she's like a national hero and seriously vicious!

There have been thraeds on this before.

Women have no place in the UFC. THere may be some smaller, organizations that want women, but we dont.

Someone asked Dana White, and he flat our refused. He said himself, that he find sit quesy, and wont do it in the UFC. This is good. Oil wrestling, is better. But not MMA. Either act sexy, or back to the kitchen. Women are NOT men.

I may catch some grief for this one but I do NOT believe women should fight in the UFC or Pride for that matter and I don't dig women boxers either. It's just WRONG on so many levels and shouldn't even be considered. I hear you Dana!

Wow sounds like someone spends her time in the kitchen all day.

I've rolled with a few JJ/Submission wrestlers before that were girls and they are QUICK and its even harder because they're lower bodys are more flexible to catch people in things like Umpoplata's(spellings way off), triangle chokes and other submissions. I haven't really sparred with girls but they are girls in my kickboxing class that are pretty good, they could KO someone easy.

I donno how great it would be for the UFC but i know girl fighters dont get as much credit as they deserve, they're alot of girls out there that can beat up alot of guys.

What is it that is going to be on your mind when you're on your death bed? Will it be the tedious years of 9 to 5, or the memory of some great acheivement. Maybe a moment you stood in glory to the applause of millions.

Ha ha ha - kitchen NOPE (well not barefoot any how)... reading MMA posts and catching the fights - WAY TOO MUCH time!
But I do believe that women should be soft and sweet not hard and beat!
I suppose you can call me a "male chauvinist" - I can live with that

They dont, and thats good because it will prevent some horrible damage from happening.

Its a respect thing. If you respect a woman, you dont want her in a bloody mess in the middle of the octagon.

In regards to the training thing - Start to ground and pound one of them, and see how their flexibility works then..... Males tend to have a harder chin.

Women in the UFC

...Hey why not? Nothing better than 2 hot chicks going at it with Ring Girl shorts on...LOL! On a serious note...think about Christy Martin or the Ali & Fraizer daughters?...They would kick some serious butt...

P.S. This could be a nice money maker for Dana. Bring in the Sex factor...that ALWAYS makes money.
Us guys love to watch women....period.

just hit me...Joe Rogan from Fear Factor to Sex factor..lol ( "oh nice right hand to the Boob)!

Yes, but only in a oil wrestling match. No MMA. No blood. And btw, I take back the oil wrestling thing too. This isnt WWE.

Well, I suppose if they wanted to put in a 1/2 time show - booty short wearing UFC girls oil wrestling would draw in quite the crowd and wouldn't be so hard on the eyes... but isn't that what duo's night at the joint and the internet for?

But seriously, I hope the UFC never gets to the point of being that commercial!

Well, BadHabitBabe, you just set the women's movement back ..lol ... just kidding ...I dunno I was thinking maybe having 1 match out of 8 ... but I don't think MMA is very big with women and the calibre of talent might be poor and embarassing to women because of the lack of ladies in the sport
