All Spencer, all day long.

Melvin won't catch him, and he can't win otherwise. HE simply lacks a way to do it.

Demian Maia may be the Fred Astaire of jiu-jitsu, but it’s too bad Silva is the Gene Kelly of kicking everyone’s ass.

This fight should be fun to watch, but I wish they'd be giving Fisher someone of more worth than Melvin. Melvin should be fighting guys like Andy Wang for now.

Surprised Melvin got so much love in this match-up from the first page. Then I read on and it was back to normal.

Halebop hates Fisher as much as BloodJunkie hates Guillard.

I think Guillard stands a good chance to outstrike Fisher. He is bigger, stronger, and quicker. And if you think those attributes can't overcome technique, ask Frankie Edgar what he thinks about Maynard (sure its a different style but it is still size and power beating technique).

I can't see Fisher keeping this standing for long though. He is smart and generally not cocky.

Fisher is just as fast, if not faster than Melvin....only he's as such with all his limbs and footwork.

Melvin just has a cannon of a right hand.

Pretty sure Wiman got KTFO by a flying knee from Fisher. Spencer isn't my favorite fighter, but he has some impressive wins and could hang with most of the guys on that list.

Favorite Fighters by Weight Class:
MW Rich Franklin
HW Still supporting "The Crocop"
LW Frankie Edgar
WW GSP (I'm a closet Hughes fan)

Seriously, on a list of 15 (16 not counting BJ), you felt the need to comment on 1? LOL. No disrespect just having fun

And Tiger called me on it and I guess its true, I don't like Fisher but I don't like any fighter who seems to have a special pass of entitlement in the UFC. Dude could lose his next three fights and guess what? Fisher v. Whoever will be headlining UFN 103.

A groan of tedium escapes me...

I agree that Guillard's bread & butter is his right hand, but his athletic ability over Fisher's is really not a contest. Guillard is way faster.

I dunno man, you have a good argument, but Spencer is quick man. The speed he was throwing combos (punches, kicks, knees together) against Stout was impressive. Melvin's hands are a blur when he throws, but Spencer just seems to move faster overall to me...comes at you from different angles of attack.

Melvin throws fast, but doesn't move fast is what im trying to articulate. Joe daddy dropped him with a fairly lazy jab. Spencer would have dodged that.

It's kind of bold to say Melvin WON'T catch him. I mean, Spencer got caught by Hermes Franca. A dude with horrible technique in his striking.

Psalm 30:5 "For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning."

Top 3 Favorite Fighters
1. Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell
2. Glover Teixeira
3. Demian Maia
