I know they got over 100,000 pay-per-view buys on their first show and with me it's guaranteed to be over 500,000 pay-per-view buys just by the number of fans that are going to follow me no matter where I go so they're going to get there money's worth just in pay-per-view no matter what
|
AHAHAHA!!! Sure whatever you say Tito. Affliction doesnt have the marketing power that the UFC has and its not like u helped 84 or 73 that much. Seriously if Babalu wins Affliction is so screwed

Good for Tito, hopefully now he can put all the BS of the last five years behind him and start proving he's still the commodity he used to be.

Tito should be tested cause he is obviously smoking something. I personally see this as a dumb move for affliction if they gave him a boat load of money I hope it is for more than just fighting as IMO Tito is washed up and done the only guy he has beat since 2006 was Ken Shamrock. I hope Babalu shuts him up for good then he can go back to worrying about that big acting career

Whether or not I'm a Tito fan (and I respect his skills altho out of the ring I'd wish he'd stfu, like many ppl's opinion of Matt Hughes).
I'd be thrilled to bits to see a free fight with some of the matchups we've been seeing. Tito v Fedor is too much to hope for (for free) but Tito v. Babalu would be unbelievable.

The thing is that Tito hasn't beaten a good young competitor since 2006. As much as his name will draw casual fans, success is a must if he is going to continue to draw in viewers. Machida made him look slow and at times disinterested in his fight. So, what is to say that he is going to take Affliction more seriously or if he has the ability anymore to compete with the younger guys. What Affliction is doing is bringing in retreads like the Yankees have done, hoping that they will be able to beat out the young up and comers. Casual fans will only tolerate the old guys losing for so long. Affliction needs to focus some of that money they are throwing around on prospects.

"Babalu has been in my crosshairs," Ortiz said. "He's already been talking smack, saying if he sees me he's going to kick my ass, but right on if he keeps thinking that. He'll get his face caved in sooner or later.
|
Anyone else laugh at this? Babalu will KILL Tito, he looked amazing against Whitehead.

I know Frank Shamrock is another person who's been opening up his mouth. He beat me the last time we fought and I think that would be a great revenge fight where I kick his ass and finally shut him up.
|
The only fighter I hate more than Tito is probably Frank Shamrock, I'd hope for a double-KO in that bout.

As time goes we'll see who Affliction signs besides me. I don't know. I might even go up to heavyweight if the bigger pay days are there."

So Tito is suicidal?

Tito probably shouldn't use expressions like "he's been in my crosshairs" with his big head made for painting a target on.
Sorry. Every time I see that Tito melon I have to smile. It has its own weather system.

At this point tom atencio is basically looking down the list of exiled ufc fighters and throwing whatever cash he has left at them. nevermind the fact that Tito looked terrible against machida, he beat ken shamrock 2 years ago. YAHOOOOO!!! as long as Jenna's happy.

Someone is really full of himself. Tito used to be a big draw but there is no way in hell he will bring in another 400,000 PPV buys for Affliction by himself.
