He would destroy Hughes, and it wouldn't be funny.

I am still VERY interested in this fight. I've always liked rubber matches, and would like to see a well conditioned BJ against Hughes (and GSP, of course).

I'd love to see it too. I don't think BJ will beat GSP, not positive he'll beat Hughes either, but I'd rather see either fight than any of his match ups at LW, which I think will all be complete toolage.

I actually hope he gets beat by Florian after he beats Huerta BJ is too full of himself and is not a humble person. Losing to Florian may humble him and he won't be such an asshole. Flame me if ya want but he gets on my nerves even though he's one of the best.

I hear you. I have a love-hate perspective towards BJ. Love seeing him fight. Hate listening to him talk.

BJ needs to worry about fighting the winner of Huerta Florian first.

BJ is beginning to get on my nerves now. Planning world domination and he's only had 1 title defense

BJ seems to be almost always focusing on anything but present day. He wants to move up he wants to retain the LW title, he wants to fight GSP, he wants to fight Hughes, he wants to fight global warming, he wants to solve the Sunni-Shia split...enough already.

Focus on one freaking opponent- hopefully one in the same weight class- actually clean the division out. Whatever.

Of course he will beat Hughes. My chiuauah dog could probably beat Matt Hughes right now. I still love Hughes (no homo), but the guy's fightin' days are over. I seriously don't want to see a great fighter such as Hughes to pull a Ken Shamrock.

I'm hoping Hughes retires after he fights Serra, he's getting older and it's showing. I'd like to see him retire before he damages his legacy. BJ should have plenty of other good fights to keep him occupied.
