Anyone ever look at Dan Severn's record?
Before a recent loss in May, he hadn't lost since UFC 27 to Pedro Rizzo in 2000. Since then he had gone 53-0-4. Granted, only a few of those were against anyone of note (Forrest Griffin, Travis Fulton, Wes Sims, Justin Eilers, and a couple TUF guys) but still... for a guy who's 50, that's pretty good.

Apparently Dan Severn gave a seminar at our gym a month before I joined---SO annoyed that I missed it.

Severn was the first fighter I ever truly wanted to see everytime he fought. He was the definition of my screenname. He wasn't, "find an opening and submit a guy". He was about creating the opening and submitting the guy. Seriously fun to watch.

That's pretty impressive at his age to go 53 - 0 even if most of those opponents where nobodies. I hadn't realized he did that.

What if the UFC signed him to a one fight contract and were able to get Couture to fight him in an attempt to get the older audience haha. Bust out some walkers for em to get to the stage, promise a lifetime supply of TUMS to the winner, would be a dream fight

are you trying to say he hasn't lost since 2000? Not according to http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Dan-Severn-52 .

Sherdog and Wikipedia have very very different listings apparently. Now that I see it, I'm more inclined to believe Sherdog.
Still, put him in there with Ken Shamrock. I bet he takes him... too bad Yamma Pit Fighting didn't take off.
