stylewise Cheick is at a disadvantage against Lesnar. Pure striker VS pure wrestler unless Brock tries to play the standup game with Kongo which he's retarded if he does, I say Lesnar should have an easy win due to Kongo's lack of ground skills in general (submissions, guard, and defense). It should be much of the same with the Hearing fight. Lesnar will take one shot from Kongo not like it and shoot, ride all match while throwing infrequent shots and knees to the back. Unless he can mount him and GNP him out which I haven't seen him attempt yet.

On another note, can you imagine how many PPV orders a Lesnar/Kimbo fight would bring in? You could empty a swimming pool and refill it with dumptrucks full of $100 bills.
He needs to beat more than just Kongo and one more person for a shot at the title. He's still Green. I would say he needs at least 4 more impressive wins against top contenders to even be considered.

Let me be one of the first to say that Cain Velasquez will destroy Brock Lesnar when/if that fight ever happens.

Well to be fair to Cheick, he's never been finished on the ground, and in general he's pretty good at getting back to his feet. His ground game isn't nearly as bad as everyone makes it out to be.

I still see Kongo losing this, though.

yes very true, but what I've seen from Kongo's ground game it isn't pretty, his defense is a strong offense. But I agree I think the size of Lesnar will overpower Cheick on the ground, game over.

LOL, f-ing Mir beat Lesnar and got an immediate title shot and now you want Lesnar to beat four guys to get one? What the hell kind of sense does that make? If Lesnar beats Gonzaga or Werdum he is worthy of facing Nog.

In what way would he own him? Striking? Nope Wrestling? Nope BJJ? neither have any skill here.

If I'm correct, Lesnar signed a 3 fight deal? If this is the case, they should feed him Congo and resign him for another 3, culminating in a title shot, provided he performs to standard.

Do you know what you're even talking about? I don't think Mir deserves a title shot either to be honest. Lesnar DOES NOT deserve a title shot until about 3 or 4 more impressive wins over top opponents and he'd be lucky to get one then. I actually like Lesnar but he is undeserving of a title shot with only one more win.

I agree with what you are saying as well but lets face it, its not about luck, its about the money. I could see Brock winning one or two more(at max) and Dana sending him in for the belt. I think he should be picking apart the lower end of the division, moving up, gaining momentum, losing the green and eventually hitting the HW's big names. Honestly, I think Dana's plan is to pit Lesnar against Nog because he thinks he can beat Nog for the belt.
