No one expected Cote to beat his last three opponents and he did just that. So who knows, he's got a punchers chance but not much else on his side unfortunately. I'd like to see Cote win but yeah, it probably won't happen.

Damn that poster got me all excited for UFC 90. I really wish someone would give Silva a run for his money Unfortunately i dont see Cote being the one. The only guy's to make it out of the first round against Silva in the UFC is Hendo and Lutter that's only cause they took him down and Cote ain't doing that. And before anyone says anything Rich was done at the end of the first in the second fight so i don't count that.
Also i think the Alves/Sanchez fight while it will be good is just to keep Alves busy instead of sitting around for a couple moths while GSP/BJ happens he will get his shot after this fight barring a disaster against Diego

Silva IS staring into Cote's soul and he intends to steal it.
If yr nickname is the Predator and you know a pic of you will be used in a poster for your upcoming fight, seems like you'd try to look less like prey.

I know I'm going to get flamed for my opinion, but I'm going to go against the grain and say Patrick Cote wins by TKO in the first or second round.
Patrick has quite a bit of power, and is as hungry as he ever was. Looking at his stats, his reach is identical to Anderson's, so that advantage will be taken out of the equation of the usual Anderson fight. He is also a much better striker than all of the other opponents Anderson has faced in the UFC, including Rich Franklin. Not only that, but he is also the best counter puncher Anderson has faced in the UFC.
Coming off of 7 straight wins, it is hard to imagine Anderson will not be overconfident, maybe even cocky. Despite his appearance on the poster, I doubt Patrick is afraid. He has faced many devastating strikers in the past, and even though they may not have been as good as Anderson, Patrick knows what it is like to be in the line of fire and come out on top as the underdog. Also, he has never been knocked out. I think if Anderson comes in overconfident and attempts some of his crowd-pleasing wild moves that he usually attempts in the first round, Patrick will counter effectively and finish the fight. Call it intuition.

Anything can happen so I'm not counting Cote out. I'm not a fan of his but he has power and is pretty quick. Overall Silva is much better but it only takes one punch for it to be all over with.
