He didnt powerbomb him he passed out. Thats why he had to be woken up to be told he was the winner.

Hughes picked him up against the cage but he was in a triangle choke so when he passed out he dropped Newton on his head. Watch the fight, Matt Hughes was clearly out of it after the ref stepped in.

I need to check my history!? Did you hear what Hughes said after the fight? He said that he only lifted Newton in attempt to loosen the triangle choke. It didnt work and he fell and passed out. Newton happened to be in a bad position when Hughes passed out and was KO'ed aswell. Looks like your the one who needs to check his history buddy.

the think i don't get is this guys title is "The Champ" but he doesnt have that many posts and he doesn't even know his mma lol

What is it that is going to be on your mind when you're on your death bed? Will it be the tedious years of 9 to 5, or the memory of some great acheivement. Maybe a moment you stood in glory to the applause of millions.

Sherdog.com - Serving up Heaping Fistfuls of Mixed Martial Arts is a good source. Any questions in regards to fights, records, titles, etc. can be found there.

By the way boys, I hardly think post count is representative of how long someone has been following MMA.
