If he does beat Dan, id love to him and Silva go at it. After Silva dismantles Cote, Palhares would be the obvious choice to me. No ones gonna knock Silva out, but he can be subbed by someone with Palhares' caliber BJJ imho.

At least it might make for a more interesting fight then watching someone else with inferior striking to Silva try and bang with him. Just wanting some other opinions i suppose.

What about Maia or Okami? One win over Hendo ain't gonna do it for me.

Quoted for the Truth. I'm hoping Hendo pulls the win though, because 3 loses in a row...

I'd like to see him fight Okami first and then get the title shot. He has the best chance out of anyone at beating Silva.

Okami would be a good matchup, and it'll happen im sure since he was supposed to fight Silva anyways before he got hurt. Maia doesn't possess the strength needed to hang with Anderson on the ground I don't think.

If Palhares beats Hendo, Okami should fight Silva first (if Silva beats Côté...) while Palhares and Maia fight each other for the next shot after that.

He'd need another big win after Hendo to have earned it.

If Okami is ready then he should fight Anderson.

If not, and Palhares beats Hendo, then he deserves it. Even over Maia.

But he's not going to beat Dan.
