He would get schoolded badly. Randy Couture, one of the best westlers in MMA, couldn't even make the US Olympic team even though he tried four times. Its a whole other level when you reach the Olympics.

Don't fool yourself, GSP would get crushed like a potato against real olympic wrestlers.
Canada won gold in Sydney... but yeah i agree, unless he gave up MMA to train full time he'd lose.

He could probably be a middle of the road competitor in Olympic wrestling. If he dedicated himself to wrestling full time I see no reason why he wouldn't make the team. He's an amazing athlete and has shown that he is capable of tremendous wrestling.

He wouldn't have to wrestle Greco, he could wrestle in the freestyle tournament.

I think GSP could make the team. It's obvius he has great TD's. He trains with olympic caliber wrestlers all the time. I think right now he could make the team and win a match or 2 but if he committed himself full time to wrestling, maybe started training just wrestling for a year, then he could have medaled. He's a naturally gifted athlete and would be good at anything he did if he fully committed himself to it.
