Should Liddell vs. Evans be for a Title Shot?
Not sure if this has been posted but I figured I would throw it out there with a poll and see what people think of the upcoming main event of Chuck vs. Sugar Rashad. I think this will be for a title shot...Lets look at this match up. In Chuck "The Iceman" Liddell you have what many still consider a top 3 or 5 LHW and someone that is marketable and makes boat loads of money for the Zuffa. On the flip side with "Sugar" Rashad Evans, you have a perfect foil to Forrest Griffin if he wins the Liddell fight. Two TUF guys fighting for the prestigious LHW title in the UFC. Rashad is undefeated at LHW and would match up perfectly for the TUF if two of there gusy were fighting for a title. Along with Chuck you have a guy that was down on his luck and now on the road back to the top, and a title match of Chuck fighting the new Randy-the guy he KOed twice would be awesome.
I know some will feel that a match up with the winner of Chuck/Machida/T. Silva makes more sense, I honestly feel the winner of Machida/T. Silva facing Shogun makes more sense. I would love to see Wandi fight Soko for a possible title shot down the line. What do you think?

Griffin-Evans would be a very interesting match. Very ground oriented, being a fan of Jeremy Horn, I think it would be a good match.
Griffin Liddell would be very difficult for Forrest. There is no real way to beat Liddell with Forrest's skill sets. But (of course) Randy will think up some plan that will make it interesting and not AS one sided.

I think Forrest could beat evans on the ground I feel he has superior submission skills and I wont count Griffin out against Liddell as he kept Rampage at bay with kicks and Page could not knock Forrest out, so I dont think Liddell will.

I think it would be cool.
they may not be the most deserving but forrest vs chuck would be such a cool fight
master vs student (tuf 1)
also evans vs griffin would be cool also because its tuf 1 winner vs tuf 2 winner, and evans has been working hard through the ranks never losing a fight and getting some good ko's. the LHW divisions rankings are so messed i could see like 6 guys cases for deserving it.

I think it's a reasonable number one contender fight but there are a lot of guys who deserve a shot as well. As much as it turns my stomach to say it, Machida definitely deserves a shot. There are a lot of really good fights to be had at LHW though, Machida/Wandy, Shogun/TSilva, Chuck/Sokky, Forrest/Rashad would be nice to see an all LHW PPV and square this division away in one night.

Knowing the LHW division they'd still find a way to make it even more ****ed up then it already is haha

As far as the fans go I think this makes the most sense, it will draw a good crowd and Rashad imo deserves a title shot for the fact that he has never been beat. I give this one to chuck by TKO, Chuck will then take the title from Griffin. This is good for me being a huge wandy fan because it seems like they are trying to set him up with a rematch with Chuck and if its for the belt even better. Why else would they had given him Jardine right?

No, it shouldn't be a title shot fight. With that said, however, I am sure it will be. Even so, I think Liddell vs Forrest would be a fun fight. Rashad vs Forrest... Eh... No.
