Henderson Beats Silva: 2 losses in a row

Cro Cop Beats Silva: Two losses in a row

Belfort Beats Silva: His career goes down the pipe shortly thereafter (He loses to Sakuraba like the fight after WAND)

Arona Beat Silva and makes him look bad int heir 2nd fight: He loses the tournament to Shogun and later he get's KO'd by a no name (Sokky

) and is not heard from any more.

Tito beats Silva: He sorta got away with it, but look at where his career is now! Loss to chuck, draw against rashad and Loss against Machida. Plus he's stuck with Jenna Jameson.

Mark Hunt beats Silva: Hunt ain't what he used to be. Got KO'd in K1 by Semmy and got tapped by Alistair.

Can you name ANYONE who has beat Silva who has a flourishing career today? (Those who decisioned him seems to ahve gotten their punishment later than those who knocked him out)

Yes, one: Chuck! Is Chuck cursed? That reamains to be seen. Maybe his beard and mohawk saved him, I dunno.

At least we can give this advice to every fighter out there: Do not knock Wanderlei Silva out. His gorilla-manliness will curse you. In fact, don't beat him at all!

Cro cop beat Barnett and Sanchez after he beat Wanderlei.

Belfort's career went down the pipe because he was one-dimensional.

Yes I can: Artur Mariano after beating Wand via cuts he went 2-2 and then stopped fighting in 1999, but then opened the biggest chain of MacDonalds and is considered one of the wealthest men in Brazil.

OK- that part about MacDonalds and his wealth is complete BS.

You could extend the Chuck curse since he had that nasty hamstring tear leading up to his next fight.

Alas, you are right. I've still got summer holiday and am bored as hell and got waaaaaaaaay too much spare time.

But still: neither CC, Dan, Arona, Belfort, Hunt or Tito has had any sort of recent success. You could give WAND credit for outlasting a lot of dudes in the fight game if nothing else

Okay, now you are just being annoying. Hunt fought CC and Fedor after Wandi, right? You call those kinds of shots cursed? Arona is bidding his time, and I think he could argue he is doing fine, training guys and surfing. Belfort is doing fine he has looked much improved recently with a KO at Banned and could be on his way to UFC anyday now. Now for my faves, Dan lost the title he won from Wandi cuz he is an idiot and then got his ass handed to him by Anderson cuz he believes his own hype machine. Tito is kind of in the same boat, he beat Wand went to be LHW champion, lost to Randy, fought for the title, and is still young enough he could do something in Elite XC, Banned, DREAM the sky is the limit for that guy.

To be honest yes guys outside of Tito have struggled after beating Wandy.

Now it is really just a pattern nothing to put any thought into but it is interesting.

If you beat Ken Shamrock, you're cursed.

Royce Gracie choked Ken out. Later on, he was busted for roiding. Before that, he got stomped by Hughes in embarrassing fashion.

Dan Severn got taken out by Mark Coleman with ease and then Pedro Rizzo later on.

Don Frye got KO'ed by some dudes in a lobby. Before that, he got his arm ripped off by Yoshida and James Thompson killed a few braincells.

Rich Franklin got destroyed by Anderson Silva twice. He is now moving up a weight class.

Sakuraba just got killed by Melvin Manhoef and has been losing braincells.

Fujita got KO'ed by Travis Wiuff.

Tito got schooled by Lyoto Machida.

Buzz Berry got TKO'ed in his last fight.

Cursed, I tell you!
