I think that one of ace's greatest strengths is his size advantage, he cuts weight well and is a big MW,he can bully other MW's around the octagon, but he will lose this advantage against Hamill. I think this is a 50/50 fight, hard to pick a winner.

As for ace capturing the LHW title,I just dont see that happening. ace at MW > ace at LHW

Franklin has a suspect chin because he's been rocked? This statement is just ridiculous. Did he get knocked out? Did he lose the fights with Tanner and Loiseau? No he didn't.

Plenty of fighters get rocked in thier fights. Big Nog gets rocked all the time, is his chin suspect? Liddell has been rocked lots of times, how about him?

Bottom line is that Franklin has a very solid chin. I personally don't think that Rich will do so well against the likes of Chuck, Wandy and Page but his chin isn't the problem.

I like Rich but I don't think he has a chance at the title. There are a few interesting matches for him there but I don't think he's going to do as good as he did at MW.

No, it's really not that ridiculous. Recovery is a different matter altogether; both of which recover well. I think that the 205ers would be able to finish him.

First off, browncow will ALWAYS moo for Rich.

I think Ace is less concerned with belts now and more focused on putting on good fights against top opponents. Moving back up to 205 will give him the opportunity to take on some of the biggest names in the sport. Winning the belt is a longshot, but stranger things have happened.

Rich will pose problems for a lot of guys at 205 and separate the contenders from the pretenders. At least, that's what I'm hoping. I will reserve judgment until at least after he beats Hamill. He may not be coming in with the size and strength advantage he's capitalized on in the past, but now we will get to see how Ace stacks up on more of a skills-vs-skills level.

Sure he could lose to guys like Chuck, 'Page, and Wand, but those are top guys who can beat anybody on any day of the week. Our most recent memories of Rich may be of him being absolutely dismantled by Anderson, but his track record speaks for itself. His only losses are to the next LHW champ(as-yet-undefeated) and the P4P best in the world. The man wants some new challenges... and he's gonna find them at 205.

Still wanna see the Hendo fight though. 185, 205, 195... it don't matter.

As long as they don't set up Franklin vs Wanderlei Silva. That fight would break me. My fave MW and my have LHW killing each other.

Bottom line: Never count out Rich Franklin. The guy is athletic-as-hell, has a work ethic few can match, and has already proven that he can climb to the top of the heap.

*browncow moos in appreciation of Rich*

MOO!

I'm a fan of ACE but he has his hands full now with both divisions at LHW I know he will beat hamill but if he stays up there it will be interesting to see what he can do with a better quality fighter and if he goes down I would like to see him face Bisping or Hendo..

I'm a fan of Ace, but he made a mistake by going up in weight, should've went down. Tbh He has a way better chance at the WW division, in LHW he has like no chance.

Fav. Fighters

1. Georges St. Pierre
2. Quinton Jackson
3. Anderson Silva

He would never be able to make 170. Rich is a HUGE MW and started his career at LHW. There is no physically possible way Rich would ever make 170.
