this fight is so much less competitive than people think....
alves via 2nd round KO

I have to agree with pretty much everything you said. Thiago beat hughes and karo, both have superior wrestling than diego and they could'nt take him down.
Horrible match up for Diego.
I think Thiago would pose the most problems for GSP so I want to see him get a title shot.

This will be his 3rd strike if he doesn't. If Alves can't make the weight, I can see the UFC dishing out some serious punishment.

He will do what if he has too? THIAGO taking DIEGO down and submitting him? Hahahahahahahaha. Who are you kidding Thiago? That's like Dean Lister saying he's looking to outstrike Anderson Silva if he fought him. Okay, not quite that severe but you get my point.

I dont know why he hasnt gone up in weight class because I can honestly see him tooling the entire mw division with the exception of hendo and silva. I think those are the only two guys that would give him a problem at 185. He just wants that ww title that bad I guess.
He cuts down from 200 pounds which I find funny because when you see him fight hes never at 100 percent.

Yeah, he already tested positive for Spironolactone (spelling?), "to lose water weight". And failed to cut weight vs. Hughes because of "ankle injury" (which I find total bs story). He is either too big for WW or simply sucks at cutting weight, either case he should indeed move to MW.
Assuming Thiago can make the weight this time, Im betting on Diego by TKO (G&P) on round 2. ^^

Diego via 3rd round submission.
Alves has the advantage standing and strengthwise, but Diego will get Alves down after a round or two and eventually sub him. Sanchez has the better ground game, has a great chin and tremendous cardio and heart. If Alves could get taken down and subbed by Fisher then I think Sanchez can do it also. Sanchez is highly underrated mainly due to the fact that he is so weird outside the cage, but who cares as long as he puts up a great fight in the cage.

Diego has a really underrated guard and improved boxing, plus his chin is solid. I don't think he'll be overwhelmed, especially if Thiago makes weight.

Diego's striking is markedly improved and I think it will be quite enough to stand with Alves long enough to get the takedown. He wont be one-dimensional like Hughes (only defensive standing and always looking for the shot) which will make it easier to get the takedown.
Diego by tko in the 2nd
