I can't see Cote coming out of the first round here. Silva has serious momentum going ATM and seems very focused and in a stage in his fighting where he can pick anyone apart. Its fun to watch the guy win. I just wonder who can beat him.

It's so true. That's one of my favorite fights with Anderson especially because it was his first in the UFC and really set the precedent. If your really watch it though it looks as if he's just sparring or training.

- gets bum rushed and pushes Leben down on the ground. Doesn't bother to attack him on the ground.

- taxes him with a beautiful 1-2 combo and knocks em back down. Again he lets him back up.

- Then the "FATALITY" the KNEE to the DOME!

Leben didn't know what him em. Neither did all the rest of the victims.

I see the same thing happening to cote. Leben and cote are both 5'11 and they both think there chin is the best part of there striking game.

I doesn't sound like the best game plan but its still the best way of defeating Anderson Silva, simply push the pace, don't let him get comfortable and dictate the fight. Look what happened with Irvin, Silva got comfortable and was waiting for a mistake, and like Joe Rogan said, when you make a mistake he makes you pay!! I think Cote has the right game plan to defeat him. Will he be able to follow through is another story.

Right kick, Hospital.
Left kick, Cemetery.

He's right about pushing the pace, but, Cote doesn't have the same tools Anderson has. He has looked pretty good as of late though(Cote). I give him a chance but probably just about the same chance as Hendo.

We can all sit here and say that theres no way in hell this person will beat Anderson or that person, but, someday he will lose. Then be ready for the luck threads

I just want to see someone actually take Silva into deeper waters, I don't think his cardio's suspect, I just want to see how he handles adversity. Personally, I don't think Cote's the guy to give Silva problems stylistically, but I do wish him luck and hope he surprises us all by giving Anderson his best.

Agreed. As of now everyone is a huge underdog against Silva but any opponent has a chance. Silva is human and it's only a matter of time before his reign ends. Cote will probably lose, yes, but it is possible for Anderson to get caught.
