Haha. Two lost fights and people think CroCop is the worst. Remember when he killed Wanderlei and Barnett in the same night? When this guy is at 100% he is the man.

My bad, I thought this post was about Cro-Cop in the UFC. Let's continue speculating about the old Cro-Cop from dead organizations. LOL.

If Crocop comes back like he was in 2004-2006 he would be whipping ass and hauling tail all over the UFC. Crocop's performances in the UFC made me ashemed to be a Crocop fan to be honest, but if he trains hard and focuses then he will be a tank once more.

He still has plenty of time to improve (age isn't a important factor seeing as how guys like Lidell and Couture are still out there fighting...barely) I still want him to get his soul back from Gonzaga, but as of right now I am doubting that to happen.

I can't see him doing too well if he were to come back right now. I actually see both Gonzaga and Kongo beating him again if they were to fight him right now.

i think the days of cro cop being the most feared striker in mma are over with, and i do enjoy that head kick highlight reel that gonzaga cursed him with but i cant help but think how much more exciting it would have been to see cro cop win that fight and take on randy for the title. randy woulda killed him on the ground but the hype behind that fight wouldve been crazy.

i doubt he'll come back to the ufc but maybe throwing cans at him in japan is exactly what the doctor ordered.

it wasnt all that long ago that people where giving up on wandy and look what he just did so i guess anythings possible in mma

Yeah. I'm hoping he recovers like Wanderlei did. It took him 3 losses in a row to get his groove back, so let's hope Cro Cop is good to go.

I love me some Mirko- but the dude hasn't been healthy in awhile(still recovering from his latest injury), hasn't fought that much in awhile and I doubt seriously he has been training in a cage for DREAM. So ATM I doubt he would be very good. If he comes back healthy, gets his head back on straight and gains his old confidence, gets some wins under his belt and then wants to come back to the UFC ready to roll- I'd LOVE to see him back.

It would be a sweet redemption story if he is able to come back and threaten for the HW title like most people thought he would do in his first go round. I really don't want his legacy(in the UFC) to be the headkick HL clip of the century or a uber-superb victory over fatboy Sanchez.

you said "cro cop's career is essentially a career of impressive asskickings of no namers"....

firstly, if you intended to be talking only about his time in the UFC you would have said "impressive asskicking of a no namer"...and the Sanchez fight wasn't even that impressive

secondly, when you say his "career" as a fighter, you imply all of his mma fights from everywhere.

nice try tho

I say give him someone at the bottom of the HW list. Say.....Brock Lesnar. Lol. I really like Mirko and hope he gets on track for a few more solid fights and maybe a run at a title. Unfortunately, as has been mentioned previously, the MMA game is moving beyond his capabilities at this point and he may fair the same way as his first UFC stint. Honestly, I think he has a good shot at taking out half the HW class but thats the limit. I could see several guys smashing him ATM. All that being said, GO MIRKO!
