Well people thought Lesnar vs Coleman would be an even wrestling match... yet Coleman couldn't do shit vs CC. Cro Cop has amazing take down defense, idk. I think it'd be closer than ya think

How is Cro Cop going to beat anybody at all in the UFC. With his World Class striking...... oh wait

With his great ground skills... oh wait

Cro Cop has the most predictable style, any decent HW with a good gameplan could beat him.

I honestly think Overeem will beat him.

Southpaw, it was a good attempt at ducking the question but alas, you never answered the question.

"How exactly, is Herring going to beat him?"

I believe Herring has improved a lot more than Cro Cop. From his training, lifestyle and the way he's been fighting.

Cro Cop is still the same fighter he was since he debut in MMA. He refused to evolve with the rest of the sport until he got knocked out, then even after bringing in countless K-1 Fighters like Bonjasky he still couldn't get the job done.

I know it's not really fair to critique the guy for his style of fighting, but how can you honestly say that a guy who lost 2 fights in the UFC, followed by Pro Wrestling, Followed by a can over in Dream, deserves to be in the same ring as a top HW let alone you guys think he'll beat them.

I don't see cro cop beating, Herring, Kongo, Lesnar, MInotauro, Le Banner, or Overeem.

If Cro Cop wants to convince me he'll beat any of the UFC HW's or Overeem for that matter he needs a decent tune up fight because he hasn't exactly impressed me at all lately

I think Herring will win a Unanimous Decision or dare a say it a TKO. Flame Away!

I'm not going to lie, he did not look entirely too impressive with his win over the can that is Mizuno in DREAM, and especially his last two fights in the UFC. But the guy lost only two times guys come on, I'd wait too see how he does against Overeem or Sergei.

If he wins either of those fights in devastating fashion it's going to be just like when Wandy tooled Jardine. His war wagon will fill just as quickly as it emptied. But of course that's a big "if". We just need too see his next performance before we start calling the guy washed up. He's still relatively young, just lost twice, and is working on his ground game.

The real question though is, will he be sporting those horrible board shorts again like he did in his last fight.

He's the same style as he was years ago? Perfect! Herring won't take him down and will get murdered in the standup. Nog beat the piss out of him standing up, what do you think Crocop would do?

That sounds very familiar lol.

Anyway, I don't think I'll ever understand when Mirko fans try to discredit the Kongo win. Kongo broke his ribs? Is that really an arguement? The whole point is that he did, that's like saying the only reason he lost to Gonzaga was because he got his head kicked into the 3rd row. Mirko didn't come into the fight with broken ribs, he HAD them broken BY Kongo. How could this possibly be an arguement against the legitimacy of the Kongo win.

Also, it was not 'directly in the balls three times'. It was once, we only have evidence for one so it's only fair that we judge that one. The other 'ones' are just shots of Mirko flinching a bit when he got kneed. Either way, it happened in the THIRD round, Big John told Crocop he could have all long as he wanted to recover and he barely even took one minute. He did not look significantly impaired at all by the strike, he just didn't fight a good fight, and Kongo mauled him.

If you are reffering to Kongo then please just stop. Kongo while being an average striker is better than Hardonk. Hardonk's best strike is his leg kicks and well, Cro Cop has fought guys with way better leg kicks than Hardonk. Hardonk's hands aren't very good. Hardonk doesn't have the style that has given Mirko trouble. So please tell me where Hardonk would actually have an advantage over Mirko. If you think that Hardonk is on Mirko's level in striking then you good sir need to actually watch Hardonk fight good kickboxers and see what happens.

I'm not saying that Hardonk would beat Mirko, I'm just saying that at the time of the Kongo fight, nearly everyone on the forum was saying what you said just before. Even I was saying the same thing. It wasn't a remark about me thinking that Hardonk can beat Mirko, just that I noticed it was very similar to what was said before Kongo.
